A&W Petronas Bandar Kinrara — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

A&W has been serving the fast food industry for long time. They have their ups and downs but cannot deny their root beer float is the best that we can have.

Instead of ordering their signature like coney, fried chicken or waffle this time I try their new menu wish are fish and curly fries combo. Of course I need to upgrade the drink to float and large size. Now the drink are served without straws but still taste good. Notice that they use the bottled RB instead of their normal over the counter pouring from mug. Somehow mentally it makes the drink not as best.

The curly fries are still on point. Nice seasoned and warm. The fish were somehow mixed review. The batter I believe they are using the fried chicken batter only change ingredients to fish so the taste are not strange if you have their fried chicken before. Fish wise somehow looks flaky but couldn’t taste much of the fish.

Overall the place are a little dirty. Although the customer may return the tray after eating the staff should sometimes check the table condition and wipe it if it is greasy.

Would come back time to time mostly for their drinks. Their burger and fried chicken are ok ok only. Their coney somehow also lost it touch. Won’t say it’s bad but perhaps due to other fast food influences they unable to built up back to...

Food is good but the service is so slow. Many waiting for 15 minutes (more customers outside of photo), and I came later than other customers [-1 star]. You can order, go back home for a quick dump, and have time to spare before the food is ready 👌🏻. HR management, please do something about this. Edit: they don't even bother calling out the order when it's done [-1 star], lazy lady just stands and watch. I saw my food sitting on the counter for 3 minutes while she ignores me even though we make eye contact [-1 star]. Total time spent waiting: 24 minutes [-1 star]

Please listen HR, it makes a difference when you hire people who are competent and up for the job. They don't need to have a good CV or anything but they need discipline and respect for hard work and customers. I might not be the most qualified to say this but as a customer, please make sure they are at least trained up...

Saw a lot of negative reviews past few months but I visited today and satisfied with the food and environment.

Put avoid on the price tag, as it was something not within the outlet can control, the services at the counter was good, taking my order accurately, and deliver the food I order correctly. Ordered onion ring come with 4 pieces and of course the signature root beer float.

The cold glasses of root beer float still as good as it was previously, just the taste abit off and not strong enough compared to old school time.
