If you are wondering, the restaurant is named after the place where it started originally (in the same way that Ampang YTF, Penang Prawn Mee etc are named). It's quite an experience to see the large crowd at the original shops in Puchong 14th Mile despite the uncomfortable conditions there, that you've got to try their dishes at least once to see what the ruckus is all about. And the better place to get on it is at this place in Jalan BK 2/11 which is a short distance behind the Kinrara MRT station. Better because it's in a larger shoplot and there is ample parking. You're spoilt for choice with the wide variety of YTF dishes on offer that you get carried away ordering more than you can possibly consume. On top of that they have other dishes like Assam Curry Fish and assorted noodles to boot. Food tastes after the ones at the original shops. Personally, I can't see (or taste?) why people go gaga over this. However, it tastes different from the usual fare one finds in coffee shops around town. Been patronising this restaurant for 6years now. We have been visiting this YTF place for the past 2 weeks as my 1 years old boy loves the fish paste ball here. Soup here uses dried anchovies, which was good and yummy unlike those YTF shop using pork bone broth or laden with lots of MSG.

Total meal for 2adults and 1 baby boy @ RM 51.00. Food are made fresh to order for the fried or even the boiled one. A bowl of vegetables soup are chargeable at RM 5.00;

Fried dumpling are chargeable at RM 2.30 per piece. Now per piece YTF has increased to RM 2.30 each instead of RM 1.80 or RM 1.90each. Food standard and quality has maintained thru our years here and most importantly our kids...

Freshly made Hakka Yong Tofu in Puchong. Reasonably good taste but those olden days taste much better as compared to nowadays definitely no complaints on the portions of fish paste served with the Yong Tau Foo. Prices considered reasonable for food but drinks a little bit too pricey, limited parking spaces during lunchtime but during dinner time is Ok, humid and hot during lunchtime. Services is fast.
