January 2023 edit; Why is your staff sooooo busy with their phone?? I came up to the register and they were still so busy on their phone. I had to get their attention and only then did they even notice that I was there.

I will preface and say that i will make edits in a while as i have yet to try to buns that I've bought.

I was there yesterday about 9pm. Some shelves were empty by then, which is fine as it was almost closing time. It looks pleasant and has fresh coffee options (not sure of quality as i did not try).

Variety seems fair and pricing of cakes and breads seem decent (again, don't know of taste and quality for these).

The cashier was a tiny tiny bit slow (perhaps still getting familiar with the cashier systems) and the assistant don't seem to be able to do anything while the cashier is held up by others customers (why is she there then? Not blaming her but what is her duty besides bagging and ONLY WHEN the cashier is engaging that particular customer?). They were polite though.

However, i will say that this place is the bane to eco-conscious people as everything was pre-wrapped in single-use plastic bags or boxes. Very few selections were not already in plastic bags. *(TK bakery and i think RT bakery has the same issues as well, fyi)

Edit: The breads are pretty decent for the ones I've tried. 2/3 gets a 'Good' rating. The 3rd one was fair but it was called a "pizza" but doesn't have any quality of a pizza. If it was just called hot dog bread or something, then it would be under the...

Fantaxy Bakery in Puchong Jaya has been my go-to bakery for years — whether it's daily bread, soft buns, or special occasion cakes, they never disappoint!

This year, I ordered a Mother’s Day cake from here and it was a beautiful surprise. The design was elegant yet heartwarming, and most importantly — it tasted amazing. The cream was light, the sponge was moist, and the whole family enjoyed every bite. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and pay attention to detail.

Apart from cakes, I regularly buy their buns and breads. Everything is always fresh out of the oven — from classic red bean buns and sausage rolls to soft loaves perfect for breakfast. Their variety is great, and I love that they often introduce new seasonal flavours too.

Prices here are reasonable and affordable, especially considering the quality. The bakery is clean, neatly arranged, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They’re always willing to assist or suggest options if you’re not sure what to pick.

This bakery offers a decent variety of products, with an appealing selection on display. While I didn’t manage to try many items, I was unfortunately quite disappointed with the cake I purchased.

The main letdown was the strawberry filling—it was noticeably sour, which clashed with the rest of the cake. I would expect the fruit component to be sweet or at least balanced, but in this case, it was unpleasantly sour and threw off the overall flavor profile.

On the positive side, the pistachio mousse had a smooth and creamy texture, and it paired nicely with the soft vanilla sponge, which was thankfully moist and well-baked. However, the combination lacked a distinct or memorable taste—it was pleasant, but nothing that stood out.
