THE SERVICE WAS VERY TERRIBLE. I had on 27 Feb 2024 visited this restaurant requested to have the menu and any dinner set available on coming Saturday before I make booking for my family of 7 members for a birthday celebration. The aunty at the front desk was very rude and impatient to me on the moment I started talking to her. Since the menu didn't show Buddha Jumps Over the Wall (佛跳墙) so I asked about the price, her attitude was so impolite saying that this will need pre-order, and we have to sit down first then only they can tell me the price. This moment I felt insulted. However my mum was kind so she let go and we sat down. That aunty looked at me and verbally complaint to other staff that "Ask ask ask, slowly wait la" (she was saying 广东话:问问问,慢慢等啦. WHAT KIND OF ATTITUDE IS THIS? THIS IS TOO MUCH. Why can't I ask the price of 佛跳墙 first before booking? Just an example what if I didn't ask for the price and place order directly, and it is actually cost unreasonably, then I will have to pay that unreasonable price for 7 pax? Can't understand why she has to be that rude and impolite to both of us while the restaurant looks so free, only 3 tables filled with customers. I stayed nearby and thought of trying out your restaurant, and now I won't give a try anymore, and I will share this terrible experience with people around me. I'm really surprised that such restaurant hired this kind of EXTREMELY LOW...
Read moreOur family has dined here for many years for cny reunion dinner, but this experience for reunion dinner this year was not that ideal. Firstly, the prawns dish in the cny set menu were definitely not fresh, really really mushy and not up to usual standards. Not only that, the abalone dish had oysters in it, but these oysters lacked the usual flavours and tasted very bland. The ‘star’ of the show was the lap mei fan, the glutinous rice was definitely undercooked, and even the lap cheong had a weird aftertaste to it. It completely tasted of mint instead of the usual porky flavours which made us wonder what went wrong. The standard of the food definitely dropped a lot this year, and even though the restaurant was very busy since it was the eve of cny, it still isn’t a proper reason for the standards to drop by this much, especially since we forked out a pretty big sum for this meal. This experience has left a sour taste in the mouth. It’s ironic that the most memorable dish was probably the yusheng, given that this restaurant is known for its...
Read moreFood is good except for the coconut pudding which cost rm16 per each but tasted like santan, it should be taste like fresh sweet coconut water pudding, suggest to improve. One bad apple spoil the whole restaurant's service rating. We have 20+ pax, walk-in for lunch on 31th and my friend asked for a private room because he worried that we might be very noisy and disturbing the others. We know there will be minimum spend per table, we have that budget and so we request. There is a gold blonde boy cut hair lady, I not sure is she the manager or in which position, stood behind my friend, talked to her colleague with a very scornful tone, "RM800 per table ah". I not mind if she come over and remind us gently on the minimum spend per table in advance, but the way she spoke, is very disrespectful and scornful, sounds like we don't have that spending power, she not even willing to come over and remind us. She spoiled our mood on the last...
