Homemade Radish cake & kuih muih was the only reason they managed to get 2 ⭐️; at RM2.30 a piece the kuih is a little costly though. Penang Lemak Laksa was ok ...lemak. Heritage Teh n Teh C was over brewed. Hainanese chicken chop was just ok. Nasi lemak special fried chicken, the rice was not fragant/bland, sambal was tasteless, no basic 'nasi lemak' soul. No difference buying from nasi lemak stalls which some are better and definitely much cheaper. Traditional Mee Siam, better off having the mee siam that we can buy from those market hawkers. Heritage Signature Rojak was the worst, with its odd tasting sauce, the fried tofu had a odd sour taste(probably gone bad), the fritters was all soggy. We only took a few mouthfuls, spit out the unsavory food n left the balance 3/4 untouched. We highlighted this to the 'foreign worker' staff but was ignored. The whole place seems to be staffed n run by foreign workers. We were still charged for the 'rojak', we paid without arguing as that would be our 1st n last time patronising this place. Nothing special so wont be recommending this...
Read moreA new hidden coffee shop which serves a variety of delicious typical kopitiam food, with a personal main highlight on its butter toast bread and coffee/tea. An excellent location choice for your breakfast, lunch, and tea time.
From my recent visit, I would have to say that this place serves one of, if not, the best butter Kaya toast in Puchong. I have tried a variety of toasts including from well-known coffee shops such as Oriental, but this takes my cake. The crunchy exterior of the toast, sweet and fragrant Kaya, and most importantly, good quality butter makes it a toast worth revisiting for. Paired with their coffee which is very "kao", this definitely becomes one of a very nice hangout or meal locations.
The overall ambience is pretty relaxing too, with good air conditioning and comfortable seating and environment.
Overall, I'd recommend that you try their toast and coffee, along with a nasi Lemak of your choice and even a Mee Mamak if you wish to be...
Read moreMy first visit here. Been curious about this place, came in because ;
The Chicken Hor Fun (aka Kai See Hor Fun or Shredded Chicken Hor Fun) was chosen by me because I just had it earlier this morning. I like to do this because I can compare them. Of course some might say AGAIN AH? 😜
If you look at the photo, when the dish arrived, I thought it would disappoint. Taste wise, it was GOOD. Better than most places. The Hor Fun was very smooth and silky. RM13.90 - was OK. Quite fairly priced with the air conditioning.
Coffee was GOOD too. Really wanted to give 5 stars... Then...
1- Prawns were a bit disappointing... Just a little improvement needed.
2- flies 🤦🏽. Come on! Not a lot, but a place like this should not have any la 🙄
I'm quite sure the BOSS hardly comes here or hang around here long enough. So, I'd be happy to revise this to 5 stars.... But really need to improve la.
More so......
