A two-year-old café that purveys Nyonya kuih, bak chang and cendol among a host of other supposedly "rasa dulu" fare.
The Nyonya kuih and bak chang are all made in-house.
Other notable items on the menu include nasi lemak, nasi kunyit, mee goreng, nasi goreng and more.
The lady in charge (an employee) was rather noisy - somewhat aggressive in instructing the only service staff around. The café is small, so any high-octave sounds get amplified, making it even more unbearable.
The café is air-conditioned and cozy, with clear efforts made to create a good ambiance. Unfortunately, the noisy lady in charge put a spanner in the works.
Don't get me wrong - she wasn't rude to customers. She probably didnât realize that her high-pitched voice was a distraction in an otherwise pleasant dining environment.
We had wanted to try the signature mee rebus, but it wasnât ready. The lady in charge suggested that we better not wait, as there was no telling when it would be.
So, we opted for one cendol (RM5.90) and one pulut rempah udang (pulut panggang) (RM4.00).
The cendol was good, with fresh, plump cendol soaked in rich santan and gula Melaka, but it would have been perfect if the ice shavings were finer.
The pulut rempah udang was nothing spectacular but acceptable.
Judging by the good crowd during our visit, itâs clear that this little cafĂ© has built up quite a following. Limited seats fill up fast nonetheless.
The tables next to us were laughing about how the actual serving sizes didnât match the menu illustrations! But then again, thatâs always the caveat - what you see is not always what you get.
The cafĂ© is located behind Lotusâs Pusat Bandar Puchong, just a few doors away from Sin Daima Hokkien Mee.
Restroom Rating Acceptable except for the rubbish stench coming from the backlane.

talam ubi kayu - no for me coconut layer is yellowish a bit salty the ubi kayu a bit bitter. texture of ubi kayu is good soft chewy yet firm
kuih lumpang gula melaka good texture chewy soft qq . Alas gula melaka taste isnt Strong enough
cucur udang excellent piping hot when serve . Don't mind coming back for this
cendol - wow the cendol is a pleasant surprised. Not frozen ever slightly qq, eat slowly by itself can taste the pandan itself a mild taste as how it should be real ingredient cannot be overpowering. The rest gula melaka in it and red bean is a pass
5)kuih koci is good pandan leaves is prep soften to release it's flavour. Filing too generous skin too thin can't feel the QQ chewy that I would love to.
curry puff crust is good. Got egg inside . Not for me (personal preference) as I prefer savory filing this is a bit sweet.
pulut panggan is good. Filing vs pulut amount is balance. Pulut salty, sweet and filing with turmeric just nice.
Mee rebus is a let down- salty even the tofu is salty.
nasi goreng it's generous, prawn it's frozen type nothing much to mention, can't taste the belacan .
Overall for kuih I don't mind coming back. It's freshly made in the morning at 11 ish still warm . The labourous traditional method to prepare kuih I can feel it . The techniques, rarely I see such devotion even win...
Read moreI recently visited Rasadulu, a small Nyonya restaurant tucked away in Puchong. The shop is quite small, with only about 7 to 8 tables, so it can feel a little cramped during peak hours. Service was decent overall, but the staff tend to speak quite loudly when taking orders, which made the dining experience feel a bit noisy and rushed.
As someone born and raised in Melaka â a city known for its rich Nyonya heritage â I had high expectations for the food. Unfortunately, the dishes leaned more towards general Malay-style cooking rather than authentic Nyonya flavors. The Mee Siam I ordered was especially disappointing â I would consider it a failed attempt at the dish.
The Nyonya kuih was just acceptable. While some ć°çșąäčŠ bloggers praised it as âvery traditionalâ and âpure Nyonya,â I personally didnât find it to live up to that standard. Itâs not terrible, but not truly authentic either. The chendol was average â not bad, but nothing to rave about.
On the plus side, the prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are fair. But if youâre looking for truly traditional Nyonya food like the kind youâd find in Melaka, Rasadulu may not...
