I have been eating here since my childhood and I could never get enough of it. As the name says its a vegetarian restaurant. You can either self-serve or order from their daily specials. Their curry mee for a vegetarian restaurant is out of this world. For the people who opted for the self-serve option, you are going to get a variety of food like white rice, brown rice, 4 types of curry, tons of veggies, vegetarian meat and every other vegetarian item is there, even yam cake. Fyi, the restaurant is quite crowded during peak hours so take a not on that. But not to worry, the people over there are kind enough to share their table and they have plenty of seats. The ambience gives out a zen vibe which makes it peaceful to eat. The price is another great thing to talk about. The price is very reasonable compared to many other restaurants that I have eaten in. On the taste to price ratio, trust me, this place is the best. Again, this is a vegetarian restaurant. Make sure to check if they are open before going. So, I hope that wraps it up as why I gave 5 stars....
Read moreDefinitely one of the hidden vegetarian food gems in town. It's not apparent that there's a great restaurant from the main road, well tucked behind many car workshops in the area. They are a pure Chinese vegetarian restaurant selling vegetarian mixed rice with lots of dishes, and also ala carte food. Mainly operate during breakfast to the end of lunch. Best time to come is during lunch time where most of the dishes are ready. At least 50 different types of vegetarian food and snacks. All very well prepared. Including many types of mock meats. Try the deep fried vegetarian mutton, and the cabbage stew. All are amazing. Price is also very reasonable. I can imagine coming back often. They also have a snack counter where they sell self made vegetarian biscuits and more. Highly recommended. Parking is difficult here. Accessibility: ramp on the front entrance and main door can be opened wide. Space inside is sufficient for...
