The Flying Saucer — Restaurant in Balzan

Stopped by this new cafe for an early post-walk caffeine fix, and we’re so glad we finally gave it a try; especially since they’re pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The coffee was excellent for us, easily on par with the best spots on the island. We like that their milk-based drinks can come with a double espresso shot. A nice touch for coffee lovers who might prefer stronger drinks. Prices were very reasonable too.

Our dog seemed to enjoy the visit as much as we did—he stayed calm and relaxed the whole time, which says a lot about the vibe of the place. Outdoor seating was cool given it was still early, but the inside seating is airconditioned perfect for this coming summer season. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, even though he was managing everything on his own that morning.

Great little spot in Birkirkara with top-quality coffee, friendly staff, and a cozy, laid-back vibe. Their special "flying saucer" dish is fulfilling and the retro-sci-fi theme adds a unique touch. Perfect for a quiet coffee break or working on your laptop with a prime location near the main road. Highly recommend!

To give any negative feedback about the place, parking was tricky to find during traffic peak hours in the area but...

It was amazing! We were greeted by a very friendly dog who accompanied us for a few minutes. The people were very nice and were keen on helping us with special requests, like substituting pork for beef or changing some of their recipies.

The coffee was very calming and had nice taste to it.

We are visting Malta for the first time, after hearing that we were met with pointers on out trip and things to check out.
