This is our second visit to Dayfresh, the unique (Family run) Butcher Shop, Grill and Bar . It is quite a long bus ride from home otherwise we would visit more often.

Anything in their butchers shop window can be cooked for you right on the spot. And the talented chef’s and wait staff are exceptionally skilled, attentive and friendly. Today we also met two generations of owners, representing three generations of butchers and the experience shows. The youngest generation added the grill about 11 years ago. And I am reasonably confident it is unique in Malta.

So after enjoying some wonderful grilled meats, we bought some fresh rib eye steaks to go home and try an emulate the chef!

I made a purchase of 78 euros through Wolt in this place, I bought every kind of meat. 1kg of pork was bad, it smelled horrible and I had to throw it away because was impossible to eat. I told them through Wolt about the Issue and they said that this was not like this. I was just saying that one of the products was not in good quality, the other ones were ok, but they refused to listen to my complaint and they didnt do nothing. Quite a different experience from normal restaurants.

The place is a hybrid butcher/restaurant combo. You get to choose the meat you wish to eat directly from a meat counter and the chef cooks it to your desire. The service was excellent and well taken care of. The only down side is there are a lot of tables/chairs for a small area but did not affect much our dining experience.
