A recent visit to Hanabi was an absolute delight from start to finish. This restaurant is a true gem for anyone who appreciates high-quality Japanese cuisine. The moment you step in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The food itself is simply outstanding. The fish, especially the salmon, is incredibly fresh and melts in your mouth—a clear sign of their commitment to using the best ingredients. We tried a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and a delicious poke bowl, and each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The craftsmanship is evident, and you can tell the chefs are passionate about their work. What truly elevates the experience is the service. The staff is genuinely delightful—attentive, knowledgeable, and always greeting you with a smile. They make you feel incredibly welcome and are happy to offer recommendations. Hanabi is more than just a meal; it's a complete dining experience. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or new to Japanese food, you will not be disappointed. A very small and discreet place that could easily go unnoticed, however should not be missed if you’re looking for quality and value of money. As a sushi lover, by far the best place to try! The tuna tataki is a must, delicious sushi rolls, melting salmon sashimi, perfect panko on the fried prawns and delicious finely cut pieces of chicken in the gyozas, a few of the dishes we tried for our first visit. All enjoyed with an Asahi beer and topped up with a Japanese whiskey and chilled sake. A great selection of Japanese liqueurs as well. Too busy enjoying to take more photos, but here’s a glimpse of what was the best sushi meal on the island so far! Definitely looking forward to going...
