Billy’s Sports Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Mellieha

Food was cheap we were expecting frozen and microwave meals but were shocked by the great quality. It was a longer wait maybe 25 minutes but worth it especially for the price. Don’t usually write reviews but it’s great to see a business that isn’t greedy with fair prices. Of course it’s a bit noisy with music as it’s a bar but that’s to be expected. We brought a baby and there was a toddler there and everyone was friendly. My food was a chicken kebab full of flavour, my partner got a fish burger which was great nothing like McDonald’s. My mum had the special - pie and mash with great portion of steak inside. And the chicken in the chicken burger was a large portion so I had my friends on my plate. I got the wings and chips. Served without any dip, sauce, condiments, cutlery or smiles. They were lacking in flavour, dry, and over cooked. Really poor. The young girl serving seemed to be in a mood about something and another male member of staff seemed to be offended when I said I wanted to order drinks at the bar. Flies all over the place too which made me question the overall cleanliness. I do wonder about the high rating as there are many other nicer places to drink and eat at...

Went here last week and it really made my holiday! Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff, amazing food and drinks at amazing prices! I highly recommended the in house wings best I’ve ever had!! And not to mention the live entertainment every Saturday we saw light house last Saturday and it was amazing as usual! Thank you to Simon and the staff for making our holiday!
