Mellieha: Be careful. CHEATING ON BEER PRICE BY PURPOSE

The food is perfect. The service so far perfect. Sorry, but they were cheating on the price for beer today! They don't know the prices on the list (or even do not WANT to know!) On the invoice they charge you a much higher price and insist on it - even they were made aware of it. Cheating is not acceptable!!

Info for this restaurant's responsible personal: Skill beer and Budweiser would have cost €4.50 On the bill was: € 5,60 When I asked, they told me “All beer have the same price "(.??) The price list shows that I am correct. Mistakes can be made, but your staff discussed it and insisted that they are correct. They offered to give me back €o. 5o. Sorry, this is the policy I experienced personnelly and my statement remains: IT WAS CHEATING BY PURPOSE (AND A COMPANY POLICY??). It was NOT just a mistake (which can happen) Guests in this restaurant, enjoy this fine meals, BUT...

Today we went inside the shop to order two chicken wraps. We paid by card and we wait for someone behind the counter to give the receipt (€17.50) so they can prepare the food for us. We wait but it seems the kitchen is in chaos. No one is taking our receipt. As we wait one other person come next to us from the right and is served immediately. His receipt is taken immediately and his food is being prepared. The same food as ours. Then another two persons (men) came to the cash machine and paid a new order and came to the right of us waiting. Again the person behind the counter took their receipt and started preparing their food immediately. They were having the same cut chicken like we ordered. We were frustrated so we sat down on the first table Infront of the counter. No waiter came to us. And nobody asked us if we are being served. We tried to ask is there something wrong with the kitchen today but everyone looked around. This was today 10PM. After waiting on the table we stood up and left the shop. We DID NOT even ask for a refund of the €17.50 as we felt we were not respected. We go there TWICE to THREE times a WEEK. So tonight we went to Southern Fried Kitchen and received a VERY nice service. It is cheaper and more chicken. We will not go to KEBAB FACTORY again and they will have a loss of two customers which spent at minimum €50...

Upon visiting Malta, we saw a few of these restaurants dotted about on the island. So of course we wanted to try it.

We ordered on the popular food delivery app on the island, Wolt which initially said that the food would be delivered between 25 & 30 minutes. This then changed to over an hour expected wait!

Anyway we decided to wait rather than cancelling the order. So when the food turned up I asked the delivery driver if there was a drink in the paper bag that the food comes in and he says he’s not sure. I thought this was strange as any normal person would keep a freezing cold drink away from hot food?

Anyway I took the food back up to the hotel room and opened it up and yes the freezing cold can was in the bag with the food. The food was unfortunately freezing. I contacted Wolt about this and they contacted the restaurant who disregarded the issue and said that the food was in a thermal bag (correct but the paper bag was within the thermal bag).

Unfortunately I won’t be eating from here again and it’s a shame a company can’t take responsibility for poorly...
