Mak Deo — Restaurant in Msida

Wir haben am ersten und am letzten Tag unseres Malta Urlaubs im "Mak Deo" gegessen. Am ersten Tag (9.9.2025) hatten wir Pizza bestellt. Sooo gut belegt, so phantastisch gewürzt und so groß. Echt phantastisch. Wir (ein Freund und ich) konnten nicht alles essen, es war so viel, deshalb haben wir den Rest mitgenommen. An unserem letzten Tag (16.9.2025) hatten wir den Red Light XXX Burger und Kaninchen (Rabbit) mit Potatos und Krautsalat gegessen. Leute, so lecker zubereitet und alles phantastisch gewürzt und mit Liebe zubereitet, das war sensationell. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist super! Ganz klare Empfehlung! On Top: der Inhaber, der auch kocht, ist so ein sympathischer und freundlicher Mensch! Dafür vielen Dank, denn wir sind mit dieser wunderschönen Erinnerung nach Deutschland zurück geflogen. We ate at "Mak Deo" on the first and last days of our holiday in Malta. On the first day (9 September 2025), we ordered pizza. It was so well topped, so fantastically seasoned and so big. Really fantastic. We (a friend and I) couldn't eat it all, there was so much, so we took the rest with us. On our last day (16 September 2025), we had the Red Light XXX Burger and rabbit with potatoes and coleslaw. Guys, it was so deliciously prepared, everything was fantastically seasoned and cooked with love – it was sensational. The value for money is great! Highly recommended! Mak Deo is one of those places where you know the food is going to be good when you step inside. It doesn't have any pretences, they will give you good food at an acceptable price, and you're gonna enjoy it. The rabbit is simple but delicious, and they still make their fish and chips with real cod, no tilapia to be found here. Chips could use some more seasoning, but there's plenty of salt on your table. The fried chicken is good, unfortunately, however, one of the strengths of the place, that is, the lower price compared to the competition, has failed as they suddenly decided to raise the price, now it is no longer worth buying here, for this price you can find better.
