June: An absolutely delightful evening learning fresh new recipes. All the ingredients were laid out for us, then we actually prepared the food ourselves, with a little help when needed. I thought eating the results would be the best part, but spending time with Chef Kurt and the other newbie chefs was the highlight of the evening. I can’t wait for my next class, signed up and ready to go.

July: Maltese Ravjul for the win! Being a USA implant to Malta, I wasn’t even sure what Ravjul was. I just knew it looked good. This was my second class with the Mediterranean Culinary Academy. It was just as much fun as the first, a good group of other participants, gentle guidance from Chef Kurt, and a final dish that was beautiful and delicious. Now, I can make fresh pasta, a ricotta farce filling, and delightful tomato sauce. Looking for...

MCA is a great company and in this time of confinement I can't thank them enough for providing us with their home-delivered recipe boxes each week, at very good value for money. The products are fresh, the recipes are delicious and very thoroughly explained, and the result is of restaurant standard. I used to be a very boring cook, and I ruined most of the meals I prepared. My husband ended up taking over in the kitchen. Now it's the opposite: I've learned to enjoy cooking (at over forty years of age!) and prepare meals that everyone is impressed with. We are vegetarian and the recipe box has an option for either vegetarian or not and gluten-free or not. So they've really thought of everyone's preferences and needs. Thanks MCA, I look forward to your recipe boxes...

Attending a cooking class at The Mediterranean Culinary Academy was an absolute delight. The chef's professionalism and expertise were evident as they guided us through preparing Duck à l'Orange & Citrus Tart, imparting valuable techniques along the way. The kitchen environment was both safe and fun, fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants. The dishes we prepared were spectacular, with the Duck à l'Orange showcasing tender meat and vibrant flavors, while the Citrus Tart was a refreshing conclusion to our meal. Overall, our experience was unforgettable, and I highly recommend The Mediterranean Culinary Academy to anyone looking to elevate their cooking skills in a welcoming setting. Will definitely go again in...

Excellent experience last night where we all cooked Tagliata with beurre blanc, pureed potatoes, and a fennel and aubergine salad. We also were taught how to make a devine and very punchy Tiramasu :) A really good evening where we were with 2 friends and 2 people we hadn’t met before but all was very much fun and friendly not to mention completely delicious! Our tutor Eve was wonderful, very helpful and explained everything very well. The evening ran at a perfect pace and Eve was on hand to help us through everything. She also sat and chatted after the meal whilst we finished the very nice wine. So a very fun and interesting way to spend a Friday night and we look forward to reattending again in the coming months.
