Terrible customer service!! The old man, who I assume was the owner, was incredibly condescending to us. My friend didn't like her spaghetti bc it was super salty and asked for some red sauce to help cut the saltiness. He then proceeded to lecture us about how this is the only way to prepare the food and that anyone using red sauce is uneducated and ruining it. My friend was visibly upset, yet he kept talking down to her. When he came back again he started telling us the same thing even though I made it known that he was being condescending and making us uncomfortable. I tried to explain that everyone has their own personal preference but he insisted this is the only way to eat it. When we went to pay he had the gall to start lecturing us again and told us to Google how the dish is prepared. The old man even admitted he was rude, but didn't do anything to change it. One of the best meals I had in Malta.

Having recently visited Bologna, I saw this restaurant near to where we were staying in Malta so just had to visit!

The very small restaurant is run by a lovely friendly man from Bologna who reserved a table for 6 of us after we had to be turned away one evening as no room for us all. Every time we walked past, it was full so must be very popular!

The food was delicious and fresh. The Tagliatelle al Ragu transported me right back to Bologna. The Ravioli was my Dads favourite meal of our vacation. And my boyfriend had the chefs special Ceviche which he really enjoyed. The Cannolo for dessert was yummy too.

Very misleading reviews on Trip Advisor about this restaurant. Ambience leaves much to be desired for the price one has to pay to eat there. Not at all tastefully decorated, outside area close to passing traffic. The food was plentiful but the fish of the day was tasteless and overpriced. So was the seafood pasta which was said to be the best ever! A main course fish dish cost 36 euro for 1 person. No option was offered as to how we preferred the fish to be cooked and we suspect that fish dishes were cooked beforehand and the fish was not properly deboned either.
