Beautiful Scenic A must-watch destination There are some free parking spots for a quick stop. You need about 30 minutes at this place. Unless you want to wait for sunset, But I would suggest going to the Blue Grotto boat service and taking a quick trip to the caves around it. Never miss the boat service; it is cheap and well worth it. The parking at Blue Fritzi Parking is free. The term "Blue Grotto" refers to a collection of marine caverns on Malta's southeast coast, not far from Wied-urrieq's fishing harbor limits. According to the Local Council Act of 1993 and a 1910 court case between the villages of Qrendi and Zurrieq over the question of jurisdiction, which went in Qrendi's favor, Wied iz-Zurrieq, the blue grotto, and nearby caverns are all situated inside the boundaries of the Qrendi village. Next to the tiny, uninhabited islet of Filfla, which serves as a bird sanctuary, are the Wied iz-Zurrieq port and the Blue Grotto sea caverns.

Visiting the Blue Wall and Grotto viewpoint is an incredible experience that offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. The hike to the viewpoint is relatively short and easy, and the stunning scenery along the way is worth the effort. Once you reach the viewpoint, the panoramic view of the Blue Grotto and its crystal clear waters is simply awe-inspiring. The shades of blue and green of the sea and the rugged coastline create a beautiful contrast that is truly unforgettable.

If the weather is windy then boats don't work. So in case of bad weather there is only one way to see the cave: this viewpoint. View point is great. View is amazing! Blue water, blue sky and rocks everywhere. You don't have to stay at the viewpoint. There is a way to see cave from the other side. You need to find a path or jump through the small wall and you can watch from other perspectives. February = small crowd but weather is windy...

Great view. Only really usable if you happen to pass when there is spaces, as it sits on a road’s corner. There’s a ramped, fairly accessible walkway, but the pavement is raised to get onto this. The inside is filled with wild growing but groomed and gardened local plants, particularly several Giant Fennel plants native to malta.

What a view! I cycled here via Dingli Cliffs and wasn’t disappointed. There is usually an ice cream van in the lay-by and there is no charge (as there are in some parts of the world) to walk down and take in the view. When I visited there was a falconry expert there who was very friendly and let me hold the bird. A lovely stop!
