I've been to plenty of Churrasceria around the world, but this was one of the most disappointing. Not a black bean in sight in the buffet, no feijoarda or farofa or cheese balls which would have been the easiest way of delivering authenticity that would still be popular for expats and Maltese alike and not break the bank. Instead the buffet had some strange chicken and beef stews where the quality of ingredients was poor and the taste was more East-European than Brazilian (chicken was a sour cream based sauce perhaps, but really not pleasant). The buffet's vegetables and pasta offer were OK, but reflect typical Malta restaurant fare. The buffet's meat stews we basically inedible. When it comes to meat service at the table, the meat cuts that were brought over were OK, and staff were generous, but the restaurant really needs to focus, once again, on more authentic flavours and accompanying sauces which wouldn't add significantly to base costs and significantly improve satisfaction. Service was thoughtful, and it's competitively priced, but based on the buffet and a general lack of authenticity, I can't recommend it at all. The owner, manager and staff need to wake up, smell the BRAZILIAN COFFEE and try a few other Churrasceria in other European cities, or Sydney (Churrasco there is brilliant) but ideally in Brazil to see what the benchmark is. Even if that isn't possible, to they should browse some Brazilian cookbooks and recipes online, try some new ideas, discover plantain which can be fond elsewhere in Malta and work hard to refresh the buffet. The restaurant also needs some effort to deliver a more pleasant atmosphere, but right now the only thing Brazilian about this venue is the name and despite the price point, it's a pretty...
Read moreThis is definitely not a Brazilian Rodizio . They say 6 type of meats : came sausage chicken with bacon burn unflavored chicken wings BBQ pork ribs ( not for a Brazilian culture Rodizio) chicken with supposed Parmesan cheese but actually they use 1% of cheese and 99% of mayonnaise, pork loin and the last one one piece of a hard steak that they serve on a plate not even on the stick plus the most incredible they don’t know what is PICANHA . My husband is an authentic Brazilian Rodizio cook he was in shock with this place he even say to hire him for 2 weeks and they will see his place pack with a line outside . Plus another tip change the decor into Brazilian. On the buffet the salad was at a table with not any temperature conditions which idk how health department work in Malta . Is not beans no Brazilian farofa no fry banana . Only white rice CAN mushroom fry zucchini and many other weird food that hasn’t nothing to do with a Brazilian restaurant. The guy that serve us was educated and the wine was good at least something good . Don’t recommend this supposed Brazilian restaurant. We really thinking of bringing an authentic Brazilian Rodizio...
Read moreTo say that i am disappointed would be an understatement. We were transiting through Malta and decided to have a nice dinner before catching our next flight. We saw this beautiful restaurant and since the website said that it opens at 1830 we figured out that it will give us a good one hour to enjoy something nice. After spending 20 euros each way for cab, we were "nicely surprised" to find out that the restaurant actually opens at 1900. When we proceeded to let them know that the website said 1830, the explanation was that this was the summer time and the winter time has been changed anywhere but in google. After we called our cab to go back to the airport, we were told that we ciuld have some salads and steak as the salad bar had already been set up. Apparently, this location chose to blame google for failing to update the info instead of taking the responsibility fir the wrong info that was posted. We go by what was officially posted and have no way to know what is going on in reality. Would strongly suggest that people verify the work hours before going there. Huge dusappointment. Would have given zero...
