My experience has been one of the worst I have ever had. I feel as though I have been a victim of deception, as I paid for one thing but received something entirely different. The staff was unhelpful; they simply smiled and repeatedly said they would "pass the information to the senior manager," but no one ever took action to resolve my issues. Throughout my entire week-long stay, I was met with vague promises of "we'll look into it" or "a specialist will come," but no specific solutions were ever provided, and no one came to fix the problems. This lack of action for the money I paid and the discomfort I experienced is unacceptable. Here is a list of the numerous issues I encountered: The most shocking discovery was seeing a date-sized cockroach in the living room. The apartment I was given did not match the one I booked; the photos on the reservation were different. The Wi-Fi is terrible. There are chipped walls. The sofa is torn. The apartment is dirty and dusty, and the air conditioner is leaking, leaving brown stains on the walls. The bathroom lock is broken. The water is not draining in the sink. The toaster has a European plug, but there are no suitable outlets to plug it in. The teapot lid is broken and keeps falling off. There are only two European outlets for a four-person apartment. It would be a small but necessary investment to provide adapters for tourists. All the frying pans are scratched from using metal utensils on the Teflon, making them dangerous and unusable. No one is responding to my messages on Booking.com or via email. The apartments are incredibly noisy, making it impossible to rest or sleep properly. The towels are old and stained, with holes in them. The iron has a torn cord, posing a safety risk. The shower has no door or screen, so water splashes all over the bathroom floor. The entire apartment is in desperate need of renovation; everything is worn out, old, and neglected. The reception staff just smiled and gave empty promises all week, and no one ever came to fix the problems. I am also adding that the beds are incredibly creaky, making it difficult to get any rest or sleep well. PLEASE DONT LOOK AT THE PICTURES THEY ARE FAKE!!My stay at this property was unfortunately very disappointing, and I would not recommend it.

To start, the pictures shown during booking were of the hotel, which gave the impression that the apartment was located there. However, I later found out that the apartment is a 10-minute walk from the check-in location, something that was never mentioned upfront. After a long journey, having to walk with luggage to a different building was frustrating and misleading.

Once inside the apartment, several maintenance issues became clear: • Loose floor tiles, creating a safety risk • A door that didn’t open or close properly • A fridge that couldn’t be opened, making it completely unusable • A shower with very low water pressure, making it difficult to bathe comfortably

At the end of my stay, the staff offered me a meal or drinks as a gesture of goodwill — but I declined. A small offer can’t make up for the discomfort and misleading presentation of the property.

I recently stayed at Valletta View Apartments by St Hotel, and unfortunately my experience was far from pleasant.

Upon arrival, we noticed that the kitchen cabinet door was detached from the frame. It fell on my ankle, but if it fell on my foot it probably would have broken it. To our surprise, we were charged €200 for the damage, even though we hadn’t caused it. It looks like they intentionally leave the kitchen door broken to charge every guest for the same issue. The responsible staff member who was supposed to assess the damages was extremely rude and unprofessional.

The hotel staff informed us that they would provide complimentary breakfast after moving us to a different room without sea view. However, when we went down for breakfast, they denied it, claiming it wasn’t included...
