To Ocean Basket Management,

I would like to take a moment to commend you on a few things. Ocean Basket has a welcoming ambiance, your décor is beautiful, and the customer service has always been excellent. These are truly strengths of your establishment.

However, I must express my disappointment with certain aspects of the food. While the overall taste is generally good, there are recurring issues that I believe could easily be resolved with more attention to detail.

For example, the butter garlic sauce is sometimes overly salty, this has unfortunately affected the entire platter on more than one occasion. I strongly suggest that your kitchen team taste each batch before it goes out, ideally involving more than one person in quality control. It would help maintain consistency and avoid ruining what could otherwise be a great meal.

Additionally, I’ve noticed that the portion sizes of your platters have significantly decreased while the prices have increased. This change is very apparent and disappointing, especially for regular customers. It gives the impression that quantity is being prioritized over customer satisfaction.( An e.g is the gratin fruit de mer). From a bowl to a cup. Also, try new fish in your platter. We live on an island. Your fish does not taste that good.

I visited your La Croisette branch five times this year and left unsatisfied each time. I genuinely want to continue supporting Ocean Basket, but I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements.

We were there for lunch on a Saturday. The place was relatively calm. We really enjoyed the food, the service was rapid and the staff very pleasant.

Unfortunately, the only thing that put me off and the reason why i rate only 2 stars was because of the lack of cleanliness of the restaurant. I found it disgusting to look at the floor all around the restaurant while eating as I could only imagine the state of the kitchen.

We were given a table that had supposedly just been cleaned but the chairs/bench and beneath the table had food and grease spilled all over... There was also hair all over the place and the worst was a chunk of tissue which made me think i was sitting in a toilet!

We asked to have the area cleaned again but as I stood in the middle of the restaurant I found how under every table and every floor corner of that place there's something left from what I presume was from a previous customer; a used kleenex, an opened candy wrapper, a mastercard receipt, a stale french fry and some more...I was disgusted and almost found myself leaving the place...but my husband is a staff from the parent company so he decided we will stay nonetheless. Luckily the food was good and it kinda made me forget what was under our table...

Despite making us wait longer for them to clean the area again, see the photos to see what was still available under our table while we ate! And right now i cannot tell you if I want to come again to this place...

The worst experience!! And this spoil my Sunday dinner night which Ocean basket cannot return me!!!!!😡😡😡..We have been seated around 19h15 and we order at 19h30 approx...but up to 20h30...we did not receive neither the starters nor the main dishes!!!...more than one hour of waiting useless while all people who came after us were receiving their orders...when I asked the waiter..he said I will check but never reverts back...I walked to the counter of the kitchen and asked about my order and I was informed that there has been a mistake madam...now the chef is preparing your order!!!!After more than one hour waiting there..being there for a family time n we were hungry...ocean basket stole our precious moments...we are so disappointed!!!by the way when ordering..we wanted sushi but the waiter said its not possible to get sushi because it will take more than 45 mins thus we did not order..but they made us wait uselessly for more than an hour!!!😡😡😡😡.Very unprofessional and cheap behaviour!!!This upset us a lot because the other customers who came after us was staring at us as they could see we were at the table before them but only had bread n butter being served!!!..words are not enough to express how angry we are...Bravo Ocean basket for your disgusting way of treating...
