I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Beach House, a charming restaurant nestled on the beachfront. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by its casual and inviting atmosphere. The Beach House truly lives up to its name, offering a delightful dining experience that perfectly captures the essence of coastal bliss.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the delectable food that this hidden gem serves. With an extensive menu boasting an array of mouthwatering options, my taste buds were in for a treat. However, there was one dish that stood out above all others—the lasagna. This culinary masterpiece was a symphony of flavors, featuring layers of rich tomato sauce, perfectly cooked pasta, and a generous amount of gooey, melted cheese. Every bite was pure bliss, and it left me craving for more.
Not only does The Beach House deliver on taste, but their service is also top-notch. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional. From the moment I was seated until the end of my meal, they made me feel welcome and took care of my every need. It was evident that the team at The Beach House genuinely cares about their customers' satisfaction.
The restaurant's location is a dream come true for any beach lover. The soothing sound of crashing waves and the breathtaking view of the ocean created a serene backdrop for my meal. Whether you're seeking a romantic evening or a laid-back gathering with friends, The Beach House offers the perfect ambiance to enjoy a memorable dining experience.
In addition to its remarkable food and service, The Beach House also boasts a well-curated selection of beverages, including refreshing cocktails and a diverse wine list. The drink options perfectly complemented the flavors of the dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The Beach House is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking a combination of delectable cuisine, outstanding service, and a relaxed beachside setting. It is a testament to the passion and dedication of the entire team, from the talented chefs to the attentive staff members.

Read moreThe Beach House is a place I always go to every time I visit Mauritius. It's consistently busy so booking is essential, especially if you want a front row seat to the breathtaking view. The place has beach acces, with a cute door leading directly onto the beach. There are two seating choice there so you could opt to dine in the sand. I booked the first row seat with a window seating: perfect to watch the sunset. It really is a breathtaking view and honestly makes the whole experience of visiting the Beach House. My reasoning for the 4 stars is that the service is quite slow. Although we ordered pretty quickly, we waited quite a while for our food. We did get some bread for the table which helped a bit, but I did notice that the overall service was slow. Even when asking for the bill we ended up waiting a while. I eventually just went up to the bar to tap my card. The atmosphere is quite noisy. We happened to go in race night (F1) so this could also have played a role in the noise being quite high. There are a few TVs that all show different sports so I'm not sure if they are going for a sports bar atmosphere or a more relaxed beach bar atmosphere. We went with our 2 kids, which was quite an experience. Although they did have a high chair and offered some kid-friendly food, the overall noise was a bit overwhelming, especially for my 8 month old. We ordered a variety of food: greek salad, prawn platter, steak, chicken curry and pizza. The portions are large so that was a bonus. The food was fresh and delicious. My husband doesn't eat pork and was bit disheartened by the fact that they don't separate the cooking of the meats. This left him limited for food choices. I think this is something they could look into. I am grateful to our waiter who was honest enough to let him know so that he could order accordingly. I must mention that there cocktails were divine! I tasted both he strawberry daiquiri (frozen) and Pina colada. Verrrrrry good!! Overall, it's quite obvious that the place is very well supported. The view is the absolute highlight and standout quality...

We booked for a birthday occasion and they treated us so badly like they didn’t want us there as we were mauritians , just as they are too. Very disgusting to see how your dame race treat you so bad but for Tourist oh my god ‘ kings and queens’ well i guess they are just thirsty of money. Let’s not talk about the server with no manners at all, the guy was talking to us very brutally, when asking him questions about the menu he was responding like we were bothering him, we order drink first we were a group of 6 but order only 5 drinks as one of us would have takes water . He said there’s only 5 drinks missing one likes every had to order their own things. Plus the food was not even tasty at all so expensive for nothing we had butter chicken with naan which was so fake did not taste like butter chicken at all and the side wasn’t even naan it was ‘aplon’ and then we ordered seafood gratin and crab gratin , they were both so oily till make you nauseous. Plus the crab gratin didn’t have any piece of crab. After eating this we order water to get off the oily taste the server takes forever to bring the water plus he even forgot us he was to another table of tourists serving champagne !! Then we had to remind him about the order for him to bring it. We were so fed up with him that we asked the bill to another waitress who told him we ask for the bills. Just then he came to us with the bill and machine card . He did not even give you the bill then came back . He stand there with the bill impatiently waiting for us to give the money and go. Not even give you a little treats like sweets or something. Nothing! For this price it doesn’t worth your money. Keep your money friends! People tend to forget how hard people work hard to get this money. All they think about is their pockets not...
