La Citronnelle Restaurant — Restaurant in Quatre Cocos

This is a buffet restaurant with a pretty good selection. I had a good time going through each of the dishes over the past 3 days and found them quite good. To level it up, you can mix and match to your liking, the waiters are really efficient in clearing your table so when you return from your second or third serving, everything’s ready. The drinks can be ordered separately, had the latte and liked it.

The restaurant is located right beside the beach, but the beach side can get really sunny in the morning so didn’t eat too close to the sea. However, even looking from afar, the view is good.

A plus is that they have cats in the restaurant. They wouldn’t jump on the table or bother you, but would love it if you give them quick snacks. These cats are super tame and...

At check-in, staff asked about food allergies and specific dietary needs. We clearly wrote them down and even spoke to the chef directly. Despite this, they completely mishandled the order — the person with allergies ended up eating plain rice, which they outrageously charged $55 for. No apologies was provided.

Grilled fish was undercooked. The staff was persistently up selling beverages even when we said that we don't drink.

In addition, I personally developed food allergy symptoms, which only happens when food contains high levels of preservatives — confirming my suspicion about the poor...
