I recently visited LAKAZE Restaurant, hoping to enjoy a crêpe while relaxing and taking in the view. Unfortunately, the experience with the service was disappointing.
While I was sitting and enjoying myself, one of the main waitresses sent a colleague over to ask me to move to a table near the pool. However, all the tables by the pool were dirty — either wet or covered in water — making it very uncomfortable. They told me they would bring my crêpe or the cup I had ordered, but they never did. On top of that, the staff were rude and dismissive. They seemed too focused on preparing for dinner, but that's no excuse. I am a paying guest — not receiving a free service — and professionalism and respect should always be shown.
That said, I want to mention that the chef was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made a big difference in an otherwise disappointing experience. His attitude stood out in a positive way and should be recognized.
