Cristian's Baja Salada | Mariscos de Mazatlan — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

The owner has a history of great seafood in Cabo and recently opened this establishment in a new shopping plaza in the El Tezal neighborhood. It has quickly become a “go to” place. It is located on the second floor of the plaza accessible by a staircase in the middle. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their attentiveness rates a 10. The views are good and probably better at sunset. The city lights at night are awesome knowing that you can enjoy a good dinner avoiding the downtown traffic. We started with a sushi roll as an appetizer and then moved on to the dinner course of grilled fish with butter and garlic and a shrimp bowl. The fish was fresh and tasted not over seasoned. The shrimp bowl had 10 large shrimp and was filling. House margarita was good and if you are a cerveza drinker, I recommend ordering the “grande” size as it came in an iced wine bucket. The servers were sure to keep the glasses full. We finished up sharing a chocolate flan - very good and a great way to end the dinner. Highly recommend giving this new place a try. The pricing was good and would probably be rated a $$-$$$....

Great discovery tonight! We love this place. Two locations in Cabo San Lucas and you do not want to miss! Diana was our server and she also makes the rasurada sauce (a black sauce that they bring to the table, cucumbers, soy sauce… incredible, we bought some to bring home) that you have to try! My fish tacos were beyond outstanding and my husband’s Hay Papa was incredible. Diana helped us figure out where we knew this restaurant. We talked back-and-forth on Google translate and she was so helpful. She went out of her way to explain the menu, locations, the history of the restaurant, and was so incredible as a server. we can’t wait...

Gorgeous views from the upper deck! I got a rainbow roll and the fish was very fresh, hubby shrimp tacos and it came with 3 huge ones!! Coleslaw that came with it was also amazing. We got the tuna tartar as an appetizer and it was HUGE, you get a lot of fish for what you’re paying for and the sauces were fabulous. You ate this with the tortilla chips provided on the table. Highly recommend this spot, we stumbled in after visiting the vet in the same plaza to get a health certificate to fly home with our pup and we’re pleasantly surprised!
