Sky Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

The Sky Lounge Bar at Guayacura Hotel advertises happy hour at their rooftop pool. The reality is a little different. The hotel front desk resembles a timeshare presentation but is very polite. The bartender upstairs feigned ignorance of their very well advertised 2-4:30pm happy hour. The bartender picked up two red solo cups to make our cocktails & informed us that using the hot tub sized ‘pool’ is an extra 300 pesos per person. My wife and I came to the Sky Lounge to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset. We were immediately greeted by Enrique. Enrique was one of the most genuinely friendly people I have ever met. We were very lucky to have German as our server tonight! What service! Friendly, spoke English well and we easily figured the evening ahead of us. Enjoyed delicious cocktails as we watched the setting sun. The music was perfectly elegant! ( it bugs me that most places have the top 40 playing too loud trying to make everything a dance bar) Such a perfect night!! We will be back as often as we visit Todos...
