MAJAGUA — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

One of the best restaurants in La Paz area if not the best. I’ve eaten here with my family since the day it opened at least over 20 times. Every single time the quality & consistency of the service, food & atmosphere is the same amazing quality. The menu here changes seasonally so you’ll find new items periodically to try. The breakfast is new & great and has quickly became one of our favorites! The mixologist creates very good beautifully crafted cocktails. The portions for the food are slightly a little smaller than what you’d get in the states but when you add in sides it quickly becomes a perfect meal. The consistency of the dishes are the same and the kitchen staff does a wonderful job there. The management also is great and they treat their staff like family. Overall the vibe here is upbeat and we always feel welcome. It’s very kid & family friendly and sometimes they even have live music. If you’re visiting La Paz you’ll definitely want to stop here for the dining experience. They’re right off the dock and offer beautiful sunsets from mostly any table in the restaurant. Say hi...

We reserved our favorite table at this incredible spot before our week long sail and all eight people were so impressed that we came back for a celebratory dinner after the sail! Everything is top-notch here from the marina-side atmosphere, to the delicious cocktails (the Mescalitas are superb, Tamarindo being my favorite), to the delicious food. The first dinner we went tapas-style with multiple orders of the tacos, octopus, short rib, and fish, all got repeat orders! The second dinner, everyone opted for a main, of course after having the Parmesan patatas, and short-rib-guacamole…incredible. The catch of the day, and risotto is not to be missed. However, I would be remiss not to mention the service. Every person in the place seems to take such pride in making the full experience one to be remembered. While we were all quite satiated after dinner, we could not pass on the tres leches, and the sticky toffee…which rounded out the night beautifully. To be sure we will be back every time we come to Marina Costa Baja!...

So I walked from my boat to eat here. Why is this taco spot closed on taco Tuesday! I need answers from Martin, Rigo and Rodrigo ASAP!

This is by far our favorite spot to eat in the La Paz area. Service is top notch even when they were slammed with a huge wedding party.

My compliments go out to the chef as well. We have been eating here since they opened in February of 2022. We love the rib eye, short rib taco and the brownie with ice cream too name a few things. I love that they add items per season so the menu is always changing. Some items on the menu have not changed since opening. They have found a good balance of dishes that change and ones that do not.

Now they have breakfast which we have not tried but I’m sure it’s amazing.

New favorite menu items (July 24,2023) are the Ensalada braseada de camarones and the sweet potato purée.
