This restaurant was highly recommended to us, we couldn't have been more disappointed. Sitting outside in the evening the ambience was wonderful with a 1/4 moon and Venus just below it. My wife pointed this out to the waitress by remarking how pretty it was. The waitress response was yea I don't care I'm not in to it. The service went downhill from there, we poured our own wine and the wait staff was beyond inattentive in a restaurant that only had a few tables filled. The wine list didn't include where the wines were from, I thought this was strange. We did order a bottle of wine which was very good. No complaints there. Then the appetizer arrived, the tempura mixto, a platter of over cooked and under cooked veggies and seafood in a terrible batter that was not tempura. The main dishes arrived my wife ordered the shrimp tempura roll, it was ugly and huge way to big to eat with chopsticks. The only way to eat it was to pull it apart. My Bahia pirata roll was chewy and tasteless. The only good thing we can say about the restaraunt was the wine was good, however in the three months that we have been in La Paz it's the highest price we have paid for wine and we have eaten in a lot of restarunts in the last three months. Overall I would say buy a taco on the street corner and you will be...

Normal service (not good or bad, just regular), with weird food. If you are used to top notch sushi in the states, don’t go here. They try to be very artistic and unique with their rolls but the combinations are just odd and don’t work at all. The miso soup was extremely salty, the sashimi smelled very very fishy (something we weren’t used to, not sure if that’s normal), and the rolls were bland and just weird. I ordered a roll that had fish inside, wrapped with a large chunk of fish and then wrapped with slimy rice paper, topped with even more fish. It was a mouthful of fish and cream cheese, not pleasant and a terrible combination when paired without sushi rice. The rest of the group also ended up leaving half of their meals due to the same experience. The only decent meal was the chicken teriyaki we ordered for the toddler that was in our group. Wouldn’t...

Omg… after trying Sushi twice in La Paz and finding in inedible both times (with 4-4.5 stars on google)… I had given up on Sushi! However my mom is in town and wanted sushi, so I tried one more place… This may have been the best Sushi I’ve had EVER!!! The flavors were amazing! I was sad that they were out of tuna, but they substituted it for yellowtail and it was amazing! The flavors were a party in my mouth. We got the coromuel and Odayaka roll! Both were amazingly yummy! I had read that the staff were slow and inattentive: I found this to be far from the truth. They waited on us like royalty… always asking if we needed anything else and asking our options of the food! DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! You can enter the marina even if you aren’t staying here- just tell them you are coming for sushi!!! If I could give 1000...

Sushi was good, but for as big as the menu is, it seemed like all the same thing. For instance, my anniversary roll was the same thing as a rainbow roll. The only difference was the sauce on top and the price ( extra 100 pecos). We got a lot of different rolls which looked different but the ingredients were the same. The views were great and the service was good.
