Corteza Madre — Restaurant in Baja California

Overall, my experience at this coffee shop was fairly average. The coffee itself was decent, but there were a few aspects that left something to be desired.

Firstly, parking was a bit of a hassle. Finding a spot nearby was difficult, and I ended up having to circle the block a few times before finally snagging a space. It would be great if they could offer more convenient parking options for customers.

Once inside, I found the serving queue to be somewhat disorganized. There didn't seem to be a clear system in place, which led to some confusion and longer wait times. It would be beneficial for the staff to streamline this process to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the dine-in seating area was quite small. It felt cramped and crowded, especially during peak hours. It would be nice if they could expand the seating area or rearrange the layout to make it more comfortable for patrons.

Overall, while the coffee was decent, the difficult parking, somewhat disorganized serving queue, and small dine-in seating detracted from the overall experience. With some improvements in these areas, this coffee shop has the potential to be much more enjoyable...

Now…If yall are only here for that viral Matcha Strawberry, it’s not worth it! I don’t remember how much it was but paying more than $100 pesos for a matcha drink seems absolutely wild, while most places you can get a matcha for less than that! and about the strawberry there’s not much to it, just strawberries mashed and placed in a cup with the matcha, why not just buy one jar of strawberry jam from a convenience store and put it to the matcha? same thing!

FYI, There’s no parking lot so good luck to find one near the cafe.

Place overall looks cozy, but it is preeetty small and can probably fit about...

Visité el lugar y la verdad las bebidas no son malas, al menos probé la bebida temporada "Honeymoon", dicha bebida se describe de mocca blanco + canela y no sabe a lo que promete, sabe más a un latte con miel y canela ya que el sabor del chocolate blanco es nulo. Mi prometida pidió un tónico de naranja e igual, no sabe a lo que promete, ya que sabe más a limón por lo amargo, cuando un tónico no es ni debe ser así (necesariamente).

También me impresionaron los postres que los tienen al descubierto en su mayoría dejando mal aspecto con la higiene, pues le puede caer vello facial, cabello, saliva de clientes al hablar, moscas y el mismo polvo/tierra.

El lugar es pequeño y deja al descubierto la poca higiene de la barista en turno. El molino estaba muuuy sucio y se notaba más por ser un San Remo blanco, la máquina Astoria igual estaba sucia aunque no mucho.
