Hotel Sevilla — Hotel in Baja California

The building to this hotel is amazing probably the prettiest architecture i seen in a Tijuana. The place looks like an old Spanish mission. I felt like i was at a Monastery. Absolutely gorgeous building. Also the area of tijuana it is in is a very upscale so your pretty safe over all here. Then tijuana is pretty safe over all not great and be mindful of who is around you and your personal belongings you should be fine. Also the price for a room without a tv wasnt bad only 250 pesos a night which i thought was great considering the area the beauty of the building. | The down side is it was noisy the whole time i was there. Turns out there was a little league thing in town. Yet management seemed to not care. Because they where yelling screaming running around all hours screaming playing base ball in the parking lot before 9am. One night a bbq at 10pm till about midnight. The rooms where dumpy and dirty one had a fan that when it was on was shaking so hard i was afraid it was going to fly off and hit me. A couple of the rooms i stayed in had ac units with no knobs so you could not use them also had tvs that had no cable. The wifi was hit or missed and no matter where you sat around the building you got no service most of the time. The sign outside said breakfast included but they told me they no longer offered it. Also food and stuff was about a ten minute walk away from the hotel. Also the restaurant they have there was not open the whole time i was there. Also all i only saw fans to cool the room. | This may sound awful but i did manage to get some good sleep there because i did not have tv or internet because i of a noise canceling app on my phone and a pair of headphones the outside noise vanished. I tell you i love noise machine for android it has gotten me threw nights that would have been impossible to sleep otherwise. I mainly offering this as advice since mexico motels and hotels are very noisy. | Anyway probably one of the nosiest hotels i have ever stayed in. The management like in most mexican hotels dont really do anything about it. I would recommend for the area of tj and the price but not if noise is going to bother you because there will be a lot of it. Also right across the street are two better motels for like 100 peso more a night and a lot nicer and cleaner better rooms. A 100 paseo is around six bucks us more a night. This room was 250 or...

The place is falling apart. Literally. The furniture is functional but scarred, marked, broken, and stained. The bed is like a rock. I was lucky to get a room on the same level as the parking and the office; the rest are in levels with no elevator. I was there on a very cold day in January and got in at 3p. It was an hour before the room warmed up enough to even take off my hat. It took another five hours before I could take my coat off. The room never did fully warm up. The corner right under the heater air conditioner unit warmed up but not the rest of the huge, tiled room. It is clean, with no bugs (in fact they proudly display a certificate of fumigation behind the check-in counter). The staff were all very friendly and try to be of help although none spoke any English and my Spanish is poor. But we managed. Between the cold and the hard mattress, I got no sleep that night. But I'm 63 and my arthritis couldn't take it. If you are young, it's a good safe place to get horizontal for cheap, shower (big, fluffy towels!) And have plenty of room to reorganize your luggage. We had to come to Tijuana for my friends Daughter Quince. We stayed here with my husband and kids . The rooms are clean and spacious. It's safe and close to shopping centers and restaurants. It's super quite the staff is friendly and welcoming. We stood here for three days . The prices are very reasonable. We are definitely staying here again when we come Tijuana. We found our new spot .
