Barbas Cakes And Coffee — Restaurant in Baja California

The Food is 5 Star Delicious! The cakes there are 1000 stars delicious!!!!! One absolutely cant go wrong. They are of very high quality and no they are not overly sweet, the experience wont be too rich, it's just perfect cake. The menus are just a clipboard with a few cheaply printed out pages, simple nothing to brag or boast about. The over all rating is 4 because of the waiters service, not sure if they are instructed to operate that way, but the fact that they walked past my table like 500 times in 3 minutes (hyperbole) and ignored that my cup of coffee was empty repeatedly didnt go over well. The place is very nice with the fake plant hanging gardens and the store name on ceiling a long with all the decor is awesome! The bathrooms are lacking space and in desperate need of more leg room specially if your tall you will have a hard time in there so go before you go. The PARKING... sigh... the paaaarrking... the parking is an issue, a big issue everyone there is contesting for parking,the tenants in the offices above and the restaurants below are all there co-existing with about 10 or 15 parking spaces and unfortunately the valet parking service isnt always there. Not the first time I have been here. This is about my 4th time. This time around was terrible. Took them 15 min to serve us. Brought out food first then drinks. Usually you bring the drinks out first then food. Moms Coffee was nasty and cold. Ordered poblano chilaquiles with carne for myself. Plate looks presentable but when I took the first bite 🤢. Salsa verde was tasteless, the cheese was disgusting and chewy like a gum. Asked to remove the plate from our check. First they were making up excuses and then finally took my plate and agreed with removing it from our check. Maybe the cheese was bad. If you saw this place on social media and thought it looked nice and you wanted to try it, we’ll don’t. That’s how we got sucked in. Coffee was just as good at the gas station, but it was in a nice cup with fancy foam. We got the Mediterranean omelette and the barbas omelette. Both looked amazing until we started eating.
