I understand that Christmas Day is a busy time for restaurants, and I tried to be understanding, but my experience at El Pescador left much to be desired.
First, we were not given the customary chips and salsa, which is something I always look forward to. I figured it might have been an oversight and didn’t mention it at first, but it never came even after our food arrived.
When our order was finally served, it was incomplete—missing the rice, beans, and salad that were supposed to come with the meal. By the time we noticed, our server was hard to flag down, and when we did bring it up, they seemed indifferent and didn’t offer a solution.
To top it off, when the bill came, I left a 10% tip despite the service issues because I understand working on a holiday is tough. However, I noticed the server giving us judgmental looks on the way out. That really put a damper on the evening.
I don’t think it’s too much to expect the basics to be covered, even on a busy holiday. Hopefully, this was just a fluke, but I don’t know if I’ll return...
Read moreThis place is special I was desperately looking for lobster no seafood in Rosario apparently had lobster. So, I had to set my sights on a further location down the Baja coast. Thankfully, this restaurant showed up stating in the front “lobster special”. I stoped and spoke to the waiter to confirm they had lobster. The waiter was very informative and humble down to earth guy ask for Pepe really cool waiter. The back patio was amazing you can see the pacific beach although sunny they had a huge patio umbrella that made it pleasant to enjoy the outside. I was very impressed with their food selection they had just about every Mexican seafood dish you could think of. I immersed my self with their original lobster boil and I ordered crispy calamari. The lobster was amazing pictures don’t do it justice! Other, than that the calamari was okay nothing out of the ordinary but the lobster definitely stole the show! Overall, I came to the coastline to find amazing food with a beach view and all for a reasonable price, I cannot...

This was technically my first time at a Mexican restaurant in Mexico! I've had some food in PV but this was my first time driving down!
I forgot which item I ordered, but I ate ordered a steak plate of some sort. I thought the steak was a bit on the drier side, but everything else was delicious! From the ceviche, tacos, guacamole, etc...what blew my mind were the fresh flour tortillas! I've never had fresh flour tortillas and they are a game changer!!
Staff was friendly and attentive. We sat outside with the nice weather. But there is a ton of seating inside and out.
We ordered a lot of alcohol as well...so definitely more on the pricier side for how much we ate and drank.
We parked right out front...there were a few spaces out front. Not sure where to park after once...
