Read moreThis is the only place with really good food, lobster, views, charm and service! The whole package. We live down here and have tried some of the other places and were disappointed. There is a more mature guy or waiter there at Pescador that really knows the lobster and cooking methods and told us NOT to order the lobster deep fried although it's faster. We did order what he said plus something else we thought looked good, but of course his suggestions rocked & our choices did NOT rock. The refried beans that they serve in a bowl were sooo delicious and went with the rice and lobster perfectly! We need to get back there! And I love sitting on the cliff's edge with the seagulls that come up kinda close to your table looking for a bite to eat. It is too bad the road is such a mess cuz I would be inclined to bring more people to Puerto Nuevo when they come down for a visit, but the road or rather the parking areas are almost treacherous if you are there after dark. It makes it not as pleasant to shop around before or after eating at...
Read moreThis used to be the place to go. Great atmosphere, fantastic service and high quality food, but we were there last weekend and were highly disappointed. All the areas highlighted (atmosphere, service and food) were average at best. Food was cold and plain, with the tortillas and beans being the main event, which seems super expensive to pay lobster for just beans and tortillas. We ordered the lobster tails special and never got the margaritas. The waiters seemed like they were doing us a favor, because they acted a bit upset when we asked for things they should have anticipated (limes, warm tortillas instead of lukewarm and enough for a large group instead of 4 at a time, etc.). The lobster tails were cold and hard to remove from the shell, which a good lobster tail should not be that hard to maneuver. Honestly, I do not see us coming back to this place; we may try another establishment around Puerto Nuevo or just try something else away from the area (tons of good spots around). Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this...
