Ikeda was.... having a bad day maybe?? I don't know. I hate writing a poor review. The good side is that the kind of cooked sushi with cheese, bacon, chicken, and beef were big favorites of my kids. They were all about it. They were very happy and enjoyed their leftovers. And the price was right. The buffalo boneless chicken and french fries were also delicious and loved by the whole table. The downsides. Ok. I had more fishy sushi and their seaweed had a strong smell that seemed against my senses, but I ate it anyway and had a stomach ache and unpleasant bathroom experiences the next day, so... I shoulda trusted my nose. My wife ordered orange chicken, which was a confusing of flavors... it was like mexican fried rice with some kind of almost orange chicken experience. So it just wasn't meeting any sort of preconceived idea of orange chicken. Some of the food was subpar, but I could have been at least somewhat understanding if it weren't for the service. The workers were chilling outside before we got there. No big deal. Ordered fairly quickly. But once we got our food, everyone disappeared. Everyone. The cooks, waitress, cashier, gone. For a while. I needed some things and waited for quite a while until I decided to get some things myself at the workers cooking station. The owner or manager yelled at the workers to be back inside I think. From that point on, I felt like we were in someone's house on a telenovela. When the owner wasnt having attitude with his cooks, it seemed like he was cuddly and romantic with the waitress, who was very distracted. There was some scuffle with people who showed up that they all seemed to know and it got load and dramatic and the waitress kept forgetting to give us our check. We just found ourselves in this place much longer than we wanted to be. Read moreI ordered several dishes to take away. Vegetable tempura was not like it should be, they used onion, broccoli and pepper and it was heavy. Chicken udon is boring but eatable. It contains some things like Mexican soft cheese and broccoli for example, that should not be there. Beef teriyaki is horrible. Dry pieces of not nice cuts of beef without any sauce on rice. That's not teriaky at all! The last dish I tried was one sushi roll called Okinawa, which was boring and primitive related to the look, construction and taste. The portions were huge, like double portions apart of the sushi roll. For all with one soft drink I paid 355 pesos which is very cheap. Read morePedí a domicilio 3 combos y 1 rollo california y ESPECÍFICAMENTE los pedí sin empanizar... Le repetí mi orden 2 veces he hice que la muchacha me repitiera la orden 2 veces. Me dijo que tenían mucha gente y que llegaría poco más de 1 hora. Pues bueno, llego el pedido a los 40min. El repartidor no traía la nota, no sabia cuanto era y tuve que llamar yo a la tienda para pedir el total en vez de que llamara el repartidor.🙄 Le pago, se va, abro mi orden para empezar a comer y oh sorpresa, todos llegaron empanizados. Llamo nuevamente al restaurant para pedir solución a mi pedido y la mucha muy nerviosa y a travalenguas me dice que así se prepara mientras hablaba con algún compañero y triangulaba. Pues me moleste y amenace diciendo que iba a ir al restaurant a regresar el pedido porque independientemente de que "así lo hagan" yo los pedí sin empanizar, (es como si alguien fuese alergico a algo y se lo dan con el ingrediente alergico solo porque ellos lo hacen así y hacen caso omiso a las especificaciones), en fin. Como amantes con ir y la muchacha no sabía que responder pedí que me pasaran a un supervisor o encargado, no me dijo nada, me dejó esperando al teléfono y de la nada me respondió alguien: "Bueno? 🙂" Y yo de: "Como que bueno? No te dijeron nada sobre el problema o que? (Y ahí voy a explicar todo de nuevo)... Me dijo que iban a hacer de nuevo el pedido y que ella personalmente me iba a traer el pedido (la encargada). Jamas llego ella, mandaron al de la moto, entregue el pedido erróneo, recibí el mio y veo que venia corregido pero con menos producto (pollo). ... .. . Conocí a los 1ros dueños, dos hermanos. Pero creo que ya no están a cargo de los restaurantes y es lamentable como va en declive el prestigio.
