Karnes en su Jugo — Restaurant in Baja California

Came here by accident. The place we were going to closed at 6pm. Around the corner we found this amazing gem. I'm a huge fan of the carne en su jugo dish. Right away the parking attendant was great. Walked in and right away was impressed. The space is small and I wasn't expecting much from it. It's design and decor is beautiful inside. I didn't get to take a picture but the chicharron appetizer was bomb! The mazcalita drinks were delicious. My wife had the margarita she was craving 😋 and was definitely satisfied. We both ordered large Carne en su Jugo dinner plates. I thought the plate was a bit small, but here again I was extremely satisfied. It wasn't small, it had the perfect amount of meat, the consomé was delicious, I asked for an extra sauce and poured it all in because I like it spicy. It had been such a great experience that I couldn't leave without dessert. The flan ice cream combo was it. The selling point was my curiosity for the Nieve de Elote (corn flavored ice cream). It was different and mixed in very well with the flan. Nothing was left! The staff was great. Bar was sometimes a bit on the slow side especially with not yet a full room, but I suspect it was because of their attention to detail. Would definitely recommend and I'm absolutely coming...

I have been to 3 locations and this location was great. The food was so so delicious. I had the Carne en su Hugo omelet. It came with chiliquilles - verde sauce - potatoes were so tasty and then a small serving of beans. I asked for consume and put it into my beans. Tortillas yummy!! I shared my food cause the portion was more than I could eat and I can eat! My partner had the special and she said the egg and ham omelet was on the dry side. The waiter was great. And he spoke...

This soup is the one of the greatest you can find in all of TJ. They also make a really good club sandwich. They have a few locations around Tijuana and all of them are equal in consistency and quality. If you've never tried the soup you ate certainly missing out. I highly suggest you check out this place, it is absolutely delicious. This one is located down town in Centro. Plenty of parking in the place, just two streets east...
