I visited Los Arcos the first time tonight 1/2/25. I can’t recommend to anyone. Imagine ordering garlic shrimp, your plate comes and they look so good and juicy. You take a bite and you taste cat piss. Now I’ve never tasted cat piss of course. But I know the smell and the senses just worked together and I found out what it taste like. as the shrimp was going down I was like why do I smell a litter box. Yes I have a kitty so I know this smell well. I thought it was in my imagination and my dumb butt tried another one. Now I am sitting here with stomach cramps and per Google possible food poisoning. I should know in about 30 minutes lol. I googled how can shrimp smell like ammonia. So y’all know the bacteria on bad shrimp can make them smell/taste like ammonia. I also ordered a mojito and a fish taco. I never got the fish taco and I told the man the shrimp were bad. They still charged me for the shrimp and fish taco. I’m in no position to argue my first trip solo to Mexico so I ate the loss and left. The young man and woman who took my order were nice and welcoming. I did tip them because it’s not their fault. Can’t...

We on a sunday and the beach was a total no-go the fire department and life guards kept people from going in the water due to its toxic state. The beach itself was packed. The boardwalk or malecón as they call it here was full of people and the vibe and atmosphere was awesome. There was plenty of vendors and crafts of all types kinda felt like summer was in full swing. I went with the family and from infant to our eldery we all had a great time depite the water being dirty and not being able to get in. They have a variedad show with performers and comedians looking to get their break in fame. The live music and comedy was a great way to spend the day with family and just relax have some drinks, eat...

The fish is extremely OVERCOOKED & DRY! The cook carelessly leaves the fish in the deep fryer until it's a disgusting greasy putrid rock; the server carelessly serves it to you even though this is very visibly obvious!

Their whole menu is riddled with old prices; I pointed out they charged me too much for the piña colada and they got visibly upset and aggressively pushed my change back at me, acting as if I was being cheap for discovering they charged me more than advertised on the menu!

They're so cheap, instead of using a normal pineapple garnish on the piña colada, they use a DEHYDRATED & INEDIBLE TINY BIT! It's also very watered down with zero taste of...

Coming from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas This beach was very chill, family oriented, humble. I thought it was going to be dangerous but honestly, it's just a stigma, a hype that we are fooled to believe. I would visit again and stay longer. Shrimp on a stick at the beach, churros filled with caramel, vendors selling for a living, it was a new vibe for sure. Blessings Tijuana.
