I ate here on 1/25/2020 with my Fiance and her sister, her brother in law and her nephew. We were promptly greeted and taken to a packed dining room and squeezed into a small table for 4, even though we had a party of 5. Service was good but the service was not excellent. The food was good but I think it was overpriced. But, I guess that should be expected for a major tourist location. The place seems a little dirty. The lights kept going out every 5, or 10 or 15 minutes. The whole place would be dark and many of customers were cheer. This happened a lot during our whole visit there. The men's restroom was disgusting and there was no water to wash your hands. There was a live band that passed out cards but ended up only playing one live song, that wasn't good, then the lights and power to their speakers went out. The band ended up moving at performing at only one table for the rest of our visit. The total cost was $150, not including tip for 5 people. There was not a lot of alcohol and one shared appetizer. I wouldn't be in a hurry or excited to go back. I think there are better places to eat in Tijuana for the same...
Read moreMy first time here recommended by a friend who lives near by and suggested we get some fish tacos.
Me & wife got their fish tacos, and our friend got shrimp tacos. We all got their sparkling lemonade which was quite refreshing.
Tacos were very similar to what we get back in Southern California at "El Taco Nazo", however these tacos had a certain sense of freshness about them, and I'm not saying that Taco Nazo isn't fresh. There fish tacos were delicious and amazing and would strongly suggest anyone that hasn't had fish tacos to come and give a try, you won't be disappointed.
Place was really spacious and you could sit outside in the patio area overlooking the Pacific Ocean to enjoy your meal. They offer a wide array of alcoholic beverages as well, however had a nice bunch of Cantaritos just down the boardwalk alongside the beach.
Their restaurant was clean, organized, friendly and accommodating services. Really cheerful and pleasant here. Our servers name was Adan. Good job guys for a nice establishment and for our first visit. I would definitely come back to try other food items...
Read moreThis place was decent. The one thing that disappointed me was the delay of being served. On the day I went, the place was not busy as usual. There was plenty of space for patrons. The waiter took 10 minutes to arrive to take my order; and another 10 minutes to get my orange juice drink. The orange juice was more sugar than orange. I ended up ordering water instead. The food did arrive on time. I ordered the Costa Azul Shrimp platter . It was not was I expected. They wrapped the shrimp with heavy layers of ham and bacon and stuffed it with cheese. The shrimp was non existent. To me, I ate bacon wrapped ham and cheese balls instead of shrimp. The bread slices that were advertised as warm garlic buttered came cold, un buttered, and stale. Very big dissatisfaction. This for me, is a one hit wonder. The price was definitely not worth the hype that is given to this place. It is definitely a lesson learned. I’ll be looking for more options next time I visit...
