República Malta — Restaurant in Baja California

I like the place. I didn't have the best time though. I went by myself. There was this raunchy band playing. I know about jazz. I know about improv. This was just raunchy. I was the first person to sit at my table. Then a couple of people sat, they seemed to know the band. Got up, went to the bathroom, all of a sudden the table was full with the bandmates. You would think they would make way for the client. Fortunately it was my time to leave. But I would think the client has priority. And sure, the place wasn't full, but I was there first and I wasn't harming anyone. Kinda felt I was bullied out.

República Malta is a fun beer garden and live music venue with plenty of seating on two different levels (all outdoor). There are a lot of beer and mixed drink options to choose from, and there are various food vendors, including pizza, tacos, and burgers. Breweries like Insurgente, Baja, and Cervecería all have beers on tap here.

The live music is always pretty cool as well! They have a really legit sound system here so everything sounds great. Bands of all kinds come here to perform, and some weekends there are really fun, dancey/funky bills.

Fur babies (dogs) are allowed. So to clarify. This place is like an outdoor food court. They have a place that sells you beer and cocktails, and apart, there are two other food facilites that serve food. The two that are open from noon on are a pizza place and a seafood place(mariscos). I ordered the mariscos 🔥. Shrimp Tostadas were delicious. You pay for the food at the beer place and they take it to your table when it's ready....
