An earthy, noisy, vibrant, and 'real' cantina in an old, high-ceiling building. Sit on stools at the ancient bar, or at tables to drink reasonably priced beers and great cocktails. Free tapas are sometimes offered as you drink, and the Mexican food is tasty with large portions at a good price. We visited Rincon Colonial as it was described as a traditional Mexican tavern. I wasn't quite sure what that meant, but I was game to visit. After we were seated our waiter brought out five plates of various types of snack food, all of it good. One of the best places in my opinion. Feeling like taking a rest from the sun? Head inside this Salon with a western style and enjoy a "cerveza" with local foods right on the bar or in one of the 3 small rooms with different styles. Service is quick and it is absolutely super cheap considering the location and the amount of food that it comes with a beverage!
