The restaurant is in the busy Mercado 28 complex in Cancún. The waiters are extremely aggressive in soliciting customers. Even when we walking into the restaurant we were quite surprised that the waiters from the adjoining restaurant was trying to steer us towards their establishment.
Notwithstanding their aggressive soliciting their food was pretty good and reasonably priced. We explained to the waiter our vegetarian preferences and he readily customized the dishes for us.
They do try to upsell. Steer you towards the more expensive dishes or buy more. At one point the waiter was ordering dishes on our behalf! However it’s not a hard sell and when we firmly indicated what we wanted and he was quite agreeable.

Chilaquiles Verdes were amazing. Crunchy tortilla chips, juicy sauce and not greasy whatsoever.
Tacos Al Pastor came with three in one order and the meat was really tender and flavorful. The habanero salsa that comes with it was so spicy, it was delicious (if you can handle spice).

Read moreFirst, the Cochinita Pibil is to die for. That's probably the most important thing out of this review. The food was prepared to-order and the service was pretty attentive. Unfortunately it seems they dont have a good (clean) place that they keep their bottled waters, as half of ours for a family of five came out with mud or gunk at the bottom of the bottles and needed replacing. There is a mariachi that will come around to play to you if you'd let them, and they were good about not being too insistent when we had said no.
