Absolutely the worst service, our waiter overcharged us 120 pesos and was rude about it. I ate here with my boyfriend after being in Mexico for a month, so we are well aware of tipping culture and we always leave a tip, even when we don’t like the food or don’t enjoy the atmosphere. But this time we were given a total bill of 620 pesos when we only spent 500… When I asked why, the waiter replied it was with tip included and I tried to explain to him that maybe it was a bit much trying not to be rude or insulting. I was fully aware that sometimes Mexican restaurants add a 10% tip as an OPTIONAL note on the bill, but our bill just said 629 total. In this case a 10% tip should have been 50 pesos, not 120, which is almost 3 times as much and corresponds to 25% tip, which is a really high tip. The waiter then acted really impatient and rude demanding 600 pesos still instead, which we didn’t have. Definitely not happy with this, we reluctantly paid 590 pesos which is all we had in cash. We still acted polite and left 90 pesos tip which they didn’t deserve AT ALL, after being so rude to us. Never again,...

I myself work in customer service and I know that you earn your tip not expect it. The nerve with...

I'm more than happy to help local businesses and people but there's a special place in hell for business owners who take advantage of visiting customers.
