CHINA CITY — Restaurant in Cancún

Love, love, love this place. My husband and I have been coming here for 2 years now. There aren’t many authentic chinese restaurants in Cancun. Golden Sea is the closest we’ve got, but China City has great flavor profiles. Nothing authentic, but still very delicious. More than chinese take out in the US.

The couple that owns the place has been cranking out their recipes for 10 years. The wife is very friendly! Husband is the cook. They have a cute and very young son and is often seen playing in the restaurant. Please support this local business!! All the food photos you see were taken by me at beginning service, so it was as fresh as could be! They cook dishes to order as well as their cafeteria set up with their array of daily dishes. Cooked fresh each time an item on the line runs out. —- My recommendations are the Res Picante (Spicy Beef), Pollo con Broccoli (Chicken with Broccoli) and the Pollo Frito (Fried Chicken). The chicken batter has this a slightly “sweet” savory salty flavor. Like soy sauce with chinese cooking wine, similar to the chinese roast crispy skin pork flavor. Try it! It’s really delicious. THEY HAVE WHITE RICE (arroz blanco) upon request if you prefer that. (I always ask for it because I just prefer it more than their lo mien or fried rice. I would recommend getting food “to go” because to me, it’s better and neatly packaged and seems to be slightly bigger portions...They pack in styrofoam sectioned boxes.

We’ve gotten dine-in before and they serve on smaller oval dishes and it’s very awkward to eat because it’s all piled up on a tiny dish.

I ordered from Uber Eats at this restaurant for two times in a row because the portion you get is huge, it lasts 2 days, the lemonade is delicious too. Iam not from here, but when I’ll be back, I will order again tbh cause it’s a great price/portion ratio. Had Combo 4 and 5, would recommend 5 over...

Este local de comida china es muy conocido por todos aquellos visitantes que vienen de visita a Cancun al igual que para locales.

Cuenta con diferentes guisos y combos que llevan arroz, pasta, plátano, rollito primavera, con un bien sabor y lo mas importante las porciones estan bien servidas.

Los precios son accesibles lo mas barato esta en $65 aproximadamente si la compra es directa en el local y tambien tienen servicio con Didi algo que ahorra tiempo aunque los precios varían por medio de la aplicación.

El servicio es bueno y rapido, aunque si vas a horas pico siempre estará lleno algo bueno por la calidad, pero si llevas mucha hambre puede que tendrás que...
