Absolutely LOVED this place. The staff here is excellent! The Manager Francisco is one of the best Hotel Manager I have come across. The front desk staff speaks English and Spanish. The continental breakfast that comes with the room (just have to tell them your room number)is very much worth it. They have a omelette bar, bread, bakery, OJ, cereal, refried beans, eggs and a few other things. The employees are easy going and keeps the mood at the hotel cheerful. The pool at the hotel is well kept and they give you poolside towels. The hotel is centrally located and walkable distance to Tulum avenue, where you can take the R-1 bus to the hotel zone. There's also a seafood restaurant and a late night food place called La Parilla right outside the hotel. There's a street food market 4 minutes walk from the hotel. There's balcony with most rooms. This hotel is in a very safe area. The rates at this hotel is very fair. They have a shuttle that also takes you to hotel zone at 10am and 11 am. You just have to go the concierge and ask to have your party be picked up from the hotel and they will make the arrangements. Only caveat is you have to make the arrangements in MORNING on that SAME day. The shuttle pick you back at 4:30 in front of Coco bongo. If you don't want to come back that time you can take the R-1 bus back. At the time of my visit that bus ride cost 13 MXN for 1 person single ride. No shuttle to the airport, but they can arrange a taxi or you can take the ADO bus to and from the airport. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to enjoy what CANCÚN city has to offer...
Read moreGreat hotel in the heart of downtown. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by a wonderful front desk lady who spoke pretty good English. Check in was quick, easy and hassle free. On our way to the elevator we were greeted by Roberto the bellboy/concierge, he spoke excellent English and gave us a map of Cancún and drew our route to get to major places using the bus system and told us about the hotels free shuttle to the beach. Our room was clean and had the basic amenities you’d expect for the price. Front desk gave us more towels upon request. We got the city view room, it is what you make of it lol, pic attached. Upon checkout we talked to the same lady as check in, she was just as great. Quick and easy once again, and once again we were assisted by Roberto with holding our bags while we explored the city before our flight. We tried the restaurant one night, pizza was bad, mostly cheese and old dough, chicken sandwich was pretty good though. Waiter was nice and service was good though, you really get the sense this hotel cares about their guests. Overall I’d say a great stay for the price and it’s even a deal then we got it for $75 a night on the weekend. Great location in downtown Cancun is you want to stay away from the expensive and touristy hotel district. There is a park close with nightly shows and the walls are pretty thin so noise can be a problem if you’re a light sleeper otherwise...
Read moreThis is one of those places that if I could give 10 stars I would! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH every single person who works at the Ramada Cancun. My stay there was PERFECT! Everyone treated me very kindly, with human warmth and excellent customer service. The room was immaculate, they have a great swimming pool, an impressive gym for a mid-size facility hotel, a 2 computer and video beam business center, great bar-restaurant but the best was the service I received whilst staying there. Every person made me feel so welcomed that I wanted to stay more and more.
THANK YOU RAMADA CANCUN, I cannot...
