Incredible!!! Rare gem!!! Every dish creation is impeccable! Had the best fried prawn and fish tacos in Mexico! Crispy and well flavoured batter, bite into fresh and succulent prawns, paired with fresh salad and DIY drizzle of spicy sauces. Every mouthful is clean crunchy juicy fresh and flavourful all at the same time. Best tacos unparalleled anywhere else! Arroz polok is another flavour bomb. Yes rice is on the salty side with all the soy sauce, but every spoonful is irresistibly packed with generous servings of fresh shrimps, beautifully char grilled octopus fragrant yet still tender and juicy, incredibly crispy and tender pork belly, and the tempura avocado is a stroke of genius that balance out every thing. Lastly the Carajillo de mazapan is a genius creation for a dessert cocktail. A beautiful concoction of coffee liqueur served in a glass smeared with peanut butter and peanut bits around its rim, topped with a scoop of ice cream and an ice popsicle. A playful mix of sweet and bitter, sticky and crunchy, smooth and velvety. Only pity is that the glass is too small. Visited on a rainy weekday night and staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Overall best dining experience throughout the entire stay in Mexico.

Three of us went to El Mero Mero for dinner tonight, and had such a fabulous meal decided to share. Server: Adrian awesome, attentive and spoke english (phew because hubby has a shellfish allergy) Nacho chips and hot sauces: provided free of charge, 3 mayo based and 1 tamarind chipolte flavoured (best). Then asked if we'd like to try their 4 housemade hot sauces. Let's just say we demolished a few bowls of nachos tasting the different sauces. They sell them for 100 pesos each. Food: Based on other reviews we ordered coconut shrimp (10-12), steak tacos (3) , spicy tuna tostados (2), fish ceviche, (medium sized platter). We left a bit on the stuffed side, but enjoyed every bite. My favourite dish was a toss between the coconut shrimp and the tuna tostados. They are generous with the portion of tuna, the flavours were spot on. Adding pictures but I apologize because we enjoyed the food so much we forgot to take photos. Beverages: We had the house specialty/signature drink called cantaritos and a very large beer. The cantaritos was light and refreshing and so much fun to have a fruit popsicle in a drink.

The place is located in the main avenue Lopez Portillo, from the start you can tell has a good image(branding), it’s a small but cozy, good environment, the day of my visit they played the soccer match. When it comes to the service was excellent, the waitress was very welcoming and was able to guide me through the menu since it was my first time in a Mexican restaurant also she checked several times to make sure everything was good. The food was amazing !!! They greeted us with some chips (pototos) and 4 type of different sauces. The crunchy shrimp tostadas were my favorites, the drinks the tequila cantarito and tamarind michelada were on point. The price/quality is unbeatable! You can pay with cash or credit card. Overall was a great experience and I expect to come back!

Im a huge fan of eating street food when traveling and while in Mexico its next level. But sometimes its nice to have a sit down meal with service. Most(non super expensive/fancy) restaurants you visit on holidays destinations could be bit disappointing when comes to food quality. But this place absolutely blown me away.Service was great, dining room is on a terrace with a breeze of fresh air ,feeling bit like youre dining on the roof top which is great.Whennwe ordered food we wer provided selection of delicious dips and sauces along with complimentary nachos.Waiter asked as if we like spicy food and as I'm loving it he he brought some special hot dips( insanely good)We ordered steak tacos, dish similar to ceviche (forgot rhe name) empanada and tuna tostada ... All insanely good🤯🤯🤯 So far the best meal I had in Mexico. The kitchen was open so I could see "the team" working there...the team was one chef... Cooking , presenting the food, washing dishes and making sure you get best stuff on the plate delivered to your table. If you ever there and share my experience make sure to tip this guy cuz he's an...
