K.CAFE — Restaurant in Cancún

I really wanted to support this little cafe but I’ve been twice and it’s just not good. I first went to try the boba tea and it was one of the worst I’ve tasted. The tapioca was so hard and tiny, plus they don’t even give you that much. I came again to get an iced latte and frappe to give this place another chance and I’m so upset that this was my last drink before leaving Cancun. They don’t use real espresso, the lady just makes a coffee of some sort and adds ridiculous amount of milk. My frappe was mostly ice, she didn’t blend it well enough that there was actually still a cube of ice in it. It tasted like water. Mind you, each drink was about 70 pesos each and the much better, more legit cafes charge about the same. Please save your money and do not get drinks here. Maybe the food is solid but I can’t trust a place that can’t even make...

This is a female-owned business, so please feel free to support it! The owner is a strong and pretty lady who can speak Spanish, English, Korean, and French. Located right by many hostels, many airbnbs, and ADO station, so it's great to check out during your trip. The owner and the cook were so kind to me. I went right before Mother's Day, and she took the time to provide me with delicious and healthy foods, and she took the time to offer helpful tips to have a safe and wonderful time in Cancun. I wasn't feeling well that day, but she cheered me up with memorable stories about her life abroad and so much genuine support that reminded me of a caring mom.
