I stayed one night before departing from Cancún in November. I booked through their website and got a deal paying only half the price for the room. For that price I thought the room is adequate, but it's really basic and there's no kettle or to drinking water. The bed is large, but two mattresses that drift apart at night. My room felt a bit like a basement room, so definitely wouldn't have appreciated paying more. The location is convenient but it is a bit noisy from the street (obviously not their fault), so being earplugs. Unfortunately my welcome wasn't as friendly as I experienced in all the other places I stayed in Mexico. I booked through the website of the hotel directly and my confirmation email said check in time was 2 pm. When I came the man at the reception said check in is at 3. Read morePachayama was one of the best things about our trip to Cancun. They offer the familiarity and intimacy of a B&B while offering large hotel amenities at a very reasonable price.
The ambiance is very peaceful, zen , quiet and relaxing. They offer yoga classes, meditation and breathing classes, as well as spa services such as massages and facials.
There are always staff on the premises 24/7 with locked doors and cameras at all entrances for security. Most of the staff are fluent in English, and even if they aren't, they are always eager to help and you can always ask via the concierge messaging or Google translate.
They provide easily accessible concierge service via a whatsapp chat group, where they are incredibly prompt and accommodating. Before we even arrived, they arranged transportation for us from the airport.
Even though some rooms are hostel/community based, they also offer private rooms which are very spacious and sound proof. You cannot hear people in rooms beside yours. You may hear people if they are directly outside, but the area is very safe and very quiet.
Do yourselves a favor and stay at this gem of an...
