I here to report a disturbing experience I had while checking at hotel in Cancun, Mexico. I have never encountered such a humiliating and terrifying situation.||||I booked a two-night stay at Hotel Parador in Cancun, and I attempted to update the hotel on my late arrival by phone, messages, and emails. Despite my efforts, I received no response from the hotel. On the day of my arrival, both of my flights were delayed, and I landed in Cancun at 2:00 am local time. I immediately took a taxi to the hotel and was relieved to see that I had been able to update my arrival time on the booking to 2:00 am, and the hotel had confirmed this.||||However, when I arrived at the hotel, the manager informed me that he had canceled my reservation 17 minutes earlier because check-in was only until 7:00 pm. I was shocked and confused since I had received confirmation from the hotel about my late arrival. The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful, and he offered me only one option: to book a room for 1500 Peso, which was triple the price, and to check out at noon the same day (27/4)||||I explained my situation to the manager several times, but he refused to listen and showed no sympathy for my plight. He eventually changed the booking price to 1500 per night after 20 minutes of discussion, but I was left alone in the streets of downtown Cancun in the middle of the night, afraid for my safety.||||I extremely ask from everyone to avoid this place - not because the room or the price but because the un humanity attitude of this manager. In the middle of the night, he even didn't let me use the bathroom. They aren't deserve customers money - they first need to know how to treat people....
Read moreI made a mistake in booking and now the hotel has refused to return the extra money - US$167(MX$3162). I have been double charged for my room. I have stayed in this hotel 6 or 7 times since 2014 and I would have expected them to be more flexible about rules. But it seems MONEY/GREED is number 1 to them.||This is a budget hotel and I have put up with less than ideal conditions. When I checked in this time there was not hot water for the first 24 hours. The deal clerk said it was broken and had no idea when it would be fixed. Always MANAÑA! When the hot water works I have to run the shower about 15 minutes for hot water. And, I won’t elaborate on the black MOLD in the bathrooms. ||The free WiFi in public areas means something I have to walk to the other end of the building or go to a different floor. Sometimes standing next to a router it is slower than dial up connection.||And the NOISE at night! There is a open air bar in hotel entrance where the music probably can heard over in the hotel zone till 5AM!||If you want cheap and inconvenience, this is the...
Read moreIt is ok and it is by the ADO so I stay ... would stay somewhere else but it's the easiest to get to.
The hardest part is the climbing stairs after a long flight and having to lug my luggage up with handicap... so the stay tends to end in pain with no elevator and if there is well no one ever told me and have stayed there at least 10 times now.
Not my favorate just convenient is about all I can say ... bed is hard... stairs is hard... looks old and dated ... but clean(looks a little dirty but clean just the same), the staff I am not so sure they are not pleasant but not rude, although when I come I tend to be 30 mins earlier than there 3pm check in ... and when this happens they make you wait ... and by the time they get around to you it's now 3:30 so they dont have a problem checking you in 30 mins after you been waiting 30 mins ... irritates me.
But convenient and this will make me stay again only to write a not so good review... I dont like making bad or even not so good reviews but you got to know... oh and there is...
