La Parrilla Puerto Cancún — Restaurant in Cancún

The food is very simple and overpriced. We paid in dollars in a very bad exchange rate. They accepted it and we left. When we were almost leaving the mall, the waiter got to us and said that he could not accept the bills we gave him because they were old. We gave him other bills, but he did not gave back the money we had given first and said he would come back with change (we didnt think he would rob us). He came back with very few pesos and said they accepted the bills this time. It was our first day in Mexico and we didnt know the exchange rate, so we thought it was right. My wife and I couldn't decide where to eat one evening, so we took a chance on La Parrilla and we couldn't be happier that we did!

The atmosphere was good, the service was great and the food was delicious! I had the best Shrimp Caesar Salad I've ever had! Fresh, tasty ingredients and lots of shrimp!

Overall, our visit was excellent value for money!

Very touristy, food is mediocre. Once you are seated, an annoying photographer starts putting traditional Sombreros on your head without asking for permission and wants to sell you photos with those.
