Im Dominican and I was born in the US and Dominicans called cakes "bizcocho" and when I spoke Spanish to the Baker lady at the front she was totally confused. If you are going to buy a cake here but you are not from Mexico, Mexicans called cakes "Pastel" not bizcocho like we do in Caribbean. It was a hilarious interaction! Lol! But the cake or Pastel was great and I wish I Would've had more time to probably custom order a cake as I was spending my 20th birthday over there in Cancún but I was only spending 7 days before returning back home to the US. Pastries are also quite good, some of the best (for Cancún standards). I recommend the croissant and lemon tart.
Staff is great, knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. The shop is very clean. Music is upbeat and not too intrusive, although it great for making video calls.
