Tacos Árabes Israel — Restaurant in Cancún

The best Authentic Mexican Food we’ve had the entire time we’ve been in Cancun. We spoke to Luis and he’s working hard on learning English for his customers even though you should pickup the basics when you visit Mexico. The customer service is top notch, the ingredients are chefs kiss, fresh and savory. The flan was amazingly creamy and full of flavor. We have been here a total of 4 times in a week and plan on continuing to come for the next week we have left. We ordered the bistec tortas and flour tacos and it was amazing. The cheese they use is like no other. I highly highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered for dinner every time we came for lunch. It tastes exactly the same when reheated. The tacos were bland, the tortillas were hard. The quesadillas were ok.

Had to pour tons of salsa on the tacos since they were so hard. The meat was overdone and rubbery.

They had an interesting tamarind sauce that was good.

We got a waiter that was new and had not yet learned how to take orders well. The more experienced waiter had to take over but he didn’t know who had ordered what. I’m pushing up the review to 2 stars because he tried to make up for the newer waiter.

The food is good in general but the thing is their name/brand is misleading. Because its name includes Arabes and Israel (who knows why those two are in the same sentence..) but the menu was like 90% pork. Neither Israelis nor Arabs eat pork so they are definitely not tacos arabes or israelis! I also don't eat pork and was quite disappointed after seeing the menu as I was hoping to have some...
