We ended up in Celestún during a rain storm that flooded the streets. We headed that direction originally because apparently there are flocks of flamingos. The rain was so heavy we didn't end up locating the flock. Unsure if we'd be able to get back across the causeway, we got a recommendation at a gas station for a place to hole up, wait it out and get dinner. We were directed to Chivirico. Don't be afraid, just go in! What it lacks in ambiance it makes up for in food. Waaaw la comida deliciosa, porciones súper buenas. El cóctel de camarón excelente, los dedos de pescado y las papas fritas buenísimas, las quesadillas de camarón un agasajo. De verdad cuando vayas a Celestún no dudes en venir a comer aquí.
