Terrible experience!! Surprisingly, we got right in on a Sunday morning, but then we paid for it, unfortunately. The waiter gave us our menus and then took over a half an hour to come back. We ended up just hailing another waitress and having her take our order. She was obviously mad at the guy, because then she went over to him and yelled at him and put the order in. Then it took over a half an hour for food to arrive, and when it did, it was cold. Immediately, I flagged him down and said we are not eating cold food, we don’t want an ymore, and we just want to leave and then got up and walked out. All they said was sorry. It’s probably OK if you go here when it’s not busy, but I guarantee you’re getting cold food if the place is busy. Look elsewhere. It’s not...

Just coming back from 4 days family getaway,we decide to have breakfast here. My consideration about this place : Cozy place no doubt Service not good they make me feel that they were doing a favor to have us ….. Coffe? They don’t use the right blend for the espresso which was also burnt and my cup was left with a spill of Coffe on the side, the Americano also wasn’t good Breakfast pancakes were good my pouched eggs were overcooked The eggs Mexican style we’re good, the omelette were average! The staff should understand that Coustmer paying for their wages I left about 10 % but I don’t think the staff on the floor deserved. I been travel to Chetumal for the last 25 years and this is one of few place that I won’t...

Great place with good food, seems to be the place if you want to eat breakfast and mix with local people. Food is very good, the place is cozy, wooden walls (real ones), acording prices and the Chetumal VIP drinking coffee and talking all over peacefully. I ordered egg benedict fusioned with local delicacy as platain and habanero, delicious. Wanted to finish with a popular pastry "chematuleña" that never got to the table because of unattentive waiter. Of course I mentioned that to a friendly manager but she also did nothing. Wish I had more time to deal with this and try more food....

This place is beloved by the community as it was nearly full when we got there. The Eggs Benedict a la Mexicana lacked flavor. The hollandaise was decent but it was generally bland. The cafe lechero was decent. My son's molletes were really hard. He had a tough time with the bread. My wife's eggs were so so. The service was disorganized. I had to ask for the menu after they brought us our drinks. It took them a while to bring our son's milk after we ordered it. I probably wouldn't go back. You may want to skip it. Don't believe the hype.

STAFF: Very friendly, I think it wouldn't hurt to speak a little Spanish to get by at this place. FOOD: I had the mixed fruit platter, it seemed very fresh and we also had sweet bread, definitely try the 🌽 cake. For my American friends, there are cafe refills. PRICE: Was absolutely reasonable. I think we paid for two people about 300 pesos and they accepted credit card. LOCATION: it was 5 minutes from the Hotel Fiesta Inn where we stayed. The place is climatised, but not to cold.
